I'm currently watching (ok, was watching, now listening to) the debate. There was a moment that I've been waiting for..... for months. Senator Obama, yet again, commented that we didn't need 4 more years of Bush policy.

Senator McCain looked him right in the eye and said......... "I am NOT President Bush. If you want to run against him, you should have run 4 years ago!"

Hallelajuh ! ! !

They are all wrapped up now and I have to say........ they both have some good ideas, and some stinkers. Too bad there wasn't some way to quit promoting the "party line" and do what is best for the country.

It would be nice instead of attacking each other personally they would start attacking each others views on the issues and show them a better way........I am so sick of the nasty campaign ads.......there is one here about the governor of the state of Minnesota.........they have a couple that lost thier son in the war in Iraq and they are sitting there holding a pic of thier son in uniform saying if it wasnt for Norm Coleman our son would still be alive.......they can convinced that family that because of ONE man their son died......and for the rest of thier lives they will never think of thier son dying for something he believed in but blame someone for one vote for the war. I don't support the war either but I do support our troops. And both parties is doing it..........wouldnt it be nice if they just stuck to the damn issues instead of trying to cruxify the other party.

That comment is worth way more than .02.............Just my opinon.

It would be so nice if instead of throwing insults at each other and slinging mud..they could just say this is how we are going to fix this problem...and MEAN it.
