I used to, but I read somewhere that it really isn't necessary...the body naturally cleanses you out and when you do douche, you wash away the acidity and normal flora that keeps bacteria down and can make you more prone to vaginal infections.

There really is no need to douche unless you feel it benefits you....
I read and blogged awhile back that the eye and the vagina were the only 2 body parts that were "self cleansing"!!

Mostly true, it depends on how long it's been since sex. If you douche right after coitus, then you increase chances of pregnancy due to pre-cum making the vagina a pH neutral area. Sperm cells can be preserved within the Vagina for roughly 7-10 days before they're released.
Speaking from a scientific standpoint, use of a douche every day for 10 days to Two Weeks after coitus can reduce the possibility of Gestation, since you're increasing the pH level in the Vagina. Yet, in relation to what Dmb said, you're only increasing the Acidity of the Vaginal Canal for about five minutes. Also, due to the nature of the Female's body of perserving Sperm cells, there's no way to actually know when Sperm is being released into the Vagina after Sex has occurred.
Science has a tendancy to work with exact points in time, considering we're mostly ignorant of our biochemical activity(we don't feel our synapses firing, we don't feel our lungs and skin absorbing oxygen etc), it's pratically impossible to use douching as a contraceptive. No matter what, raincoats and 'the Pill' are still the second best contraceptive.
