World Series 2008: What two teams do you want to see? posted 10/5/2008 10:07:36 PM | 0 kudos what's this?     report abuse tagged: sports, baseball, straddle   StraddleMyNose Okay, before people start calling me a "blog whore", this will be my last blog tonight. I was kinda pulling for a "windy city" world series between the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago White Sox. Looks like the Chicago Cubs are out and the Chicago White sox are still in. But there will be no "windy city" series this year. I'm now leaning towards the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Angeles (I still think they should be called the California Angels like they used to be called). And then I'm hoping the Dodgers win the whole thing like they did 20 years ago in 1988 against the Oakland A's. 	I'm thinkin' the network - and mlb would love to see Dodgers - Red Sox especially with the Manny/Torre connect I don't watch baseball - barely watch tv didn't watch the Cubs - not watching the Sox I did watch the Bears too bad they don't play the Bengals

	I would like to see the Dodgers and the White Sox with the Dodgers winning it all. And anytime I see the A's losing I jump up and down. When the Reds swept them that was a mighty moment in my life.

	especially with the Manny/Torre connect That would be interesting too bad they don't play the Bengals Be careful, my Bengals seem to do very well against some top teams this year, and poorly against the crappy teams. And anytime I see the A's losing I jump up and down. When the Reds swept them that was a mighty moment in my life Yeah, I loved that 1990 world series. That's when I was enrolled into the police academy.

	My White Sox and ? I don't care who as long as The White Sox win! Being from Chicago I can't even imagine if it would have been the Cubbies and the Sox. You have no idea how the rivalry is here. The Cubs just couldn't pull it out. Oh well.

	The Cubs just couldn't pull it out. If they were still in it and faced you south siders I would be pulling for the north siders to win it all. I guess because they're in the national league along with being in the same division as my Reds. lol

	I wish it couldve been a Red Sox/Cubs world series, that wouldve been interesting! But I'll still take a Red Sox/Dogers world series...that would be interesting too!! Gooooooo Bo'Sox!!!!

	As a huge baseball and Yankees fan, I'd love to see the Dodgers and the BoSox. With the Dodgers winning the Series. Personally, I have a problem with how the brothers Steinbrenner treated Joe Torre after last season. As to the BoSox? I'm a Yankees fan, so I'd never root for them to win. Just to get there so Torre's Dodgers can send em home for the winter. Oh well, there's no perfect world.
