There is a group out of Cincinnati that is going around the state of Ohio registering "juveniles" to register to vote in the upcoming election. Granted, these inmates in these juvenile detention centers are between 18-21 that are being targeted to register to vote. Do you agree with this?

I've noticed alot lately that they are targeting college campus' and trying to get kids to vote. I think it's all a ply to get votes for the person they believe to be more popular. I personally don't think you should be able to vote until the age of 25. At least then your head is out of your ass (for most) and you can make a better decision.

Well shit, Megan, that's not fair. You know my Bengals are most likely to lose today against Dallas.  But hey, ya never know, we could honestly pull an upset. I still think you owe me a face straddle anyway.

Not only should be able to vote but should be encouraged to vote.........thats what is wrong with our nation........we dont think our vote is important.........so many times its throwed away.............we dont encourage our children to vote for the same reason.........personally i believe that if we dont start using our right to vote we will lose our right to vote.......

It also depends, even with adults, as to whether it is a misdemeanor or felony. I don't think an 18 Yo in boot camp for a half an ounce of weed should be deprived.

Detention Center of not, unless they're convicted felons they have as much right to vote as anyone else. Getting out to cast their ballot could be a problem unless it's absentee.

Let me just say.... 18-21 year olds are NOT juveniles. They're adults and should be treated as such. The fact that they're being housed in juvenile facilities having begun their sentences there prior to age 18, doesn't make them juvenile.

Once you are convicted of a felony, you lose the right to have a gun or vote....so no, I don't belive they should be solicited to vote.

Depends....have they been convicted of felonies? Last I knew, if you are convicted of a felony and sentenced you lose your right to vote and to bear arms.
Of course laws are always changing too.
