If a belief in god helps you through the day, or if the beliefs in gods help you through the day, great. Gods do not exist in reality as the human-like entities in which religious organizations want people to believe. The possibility exists that people can share in thier thoughts of god effectively, and without a religious organization. However, too often gods become agents of power. Religious organizations manipulate people, and people do things that one or more members of a particular organization want another member or members to do, and those members who benift most do so by exploiting people's thoughts on god... 	My guess is that you worked a while on writing this. Kudos for effort . . . but I'm afraid it's about as clear as mud. What the heck are you trying to say? (Sorry, but I was an English major - in theory, it should make sense to me.)

	My faith and belief in God has been tested thouroughly this year. I'm not sure if there is one or not. I'm leaning on the side of not. If there was really a God why would there be poverty, disease, and devistation in the world? Why would good people have to die prematurely, and bad people keep living and doing bad things? Why would babies die, and never have a chance at life outside the womb? Why would there be so many unemployed people, and famine and hunger? Why would people be homeless and living out of shelters and cars? If someone could answer these questions to my satisfaction maybe I would believe in God or a higher being. I'd like to believe that there is more than just nothingness after death. I'd like to have faith that things in the world will chance for the better, but I struggle with that every day. Damnit it's a Saturday, why all you people gotta make me think today?? Good blog, you get a greenie too!

	I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree with you on this...without getting too much into a debate about this, I will say that my faith and beliefs are very strong as a Christian.
