I thought those were relatively expensive. I've known what they were and seen pictures, but I've never used one of those before. I updated a couple of profiles on other sites accordingly. I got a dental dam with it too, and I've never used one of those either--I was thinking... on second thought, nevermind...
So, I'm thinking earlier today about testing. Is it just my imagination, or have testing standards changed over the better part of the last decade? When I attended college in Pittsburgh, I was pretty sure that I was tested for pretty much everything. Now, it's my understanding that most people who get tested are tested only for HIV/AIDS, hepatitis A, B, C, syphilis, and gonorrhea (as I look up the spelling of the latter)...

I think most STD clinics test for HIV/Aids, syphilis, and gonorrhea (HA I copied and pasted and thanks for looking it up for me...lol) hepatitis and they also check for one I can't spell and I ain't lookin' it up either....so here's the best I can do..clamydia...at least they run this one on women....I don't know about on men. They can carry it so I suppose they are tested for that too.
I think a number of years ago they only tested for syphilis, and gonorrhea but times are a'changin'....they check for it all now.

Oh..............here I'm showing my own ignorance...what the hell is a dental dam??? An I ain't never seen a female condom....
With all these diseases so rampant anymore I've chosen total abstinence...that works for me. But I'm curious as to what a dental dam is.............  Anyone care to enlighten me?
