Who do you think is going to be McCain's vp, a woman maybe? posted 8/29/2008 8:38:47 AM | 2 kudos what's this?     report abuse tagged: woman, politics, news, straddle, race   StraddleMyNose It's coming right down to the wire this morning, and already, the top two picks that were favorites (Romney and Minnesota governor Pawlenty) have dropped out of the running for vp. I was really hoping Romney was the choice. There's talk about McCain picking a woman for his vp. Mentioned this morning is Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska. Do you think this is a good move? For those that comment later on today after the pick, I would love to hear your thoughts on who it is. I think Kay Bailey Hutchinson, the senator from Texas would have been a better selection. I was glad that he didn't go with Hillary or the guy from Indiana. Now that could have really given us a run for our money.

	I had quite a bit of respect for a some of his issues until a few weeks ago, now it really doesn't matter who he picks as his running mate, I don't see him earning my respect back. So it doesn't matter to me who he choses. It has nothing to do with me being liberal....
