If Obama removes the US troops from Iraq he will shift the front back to the USA. At present, as JN, in a few good men said, You can't handle the truth because while he was having breakfast with the enemy clearly in sight the people of the USA were enjoying breakfast in peace. So remove the troops and the front will shift back to the USA as at the moment the "enemy" is too busy in Iraq.

I totally agree. I would rather have us fight over there than to have those filthy no good for nothing terrorist over here on our own soil fighting us and around our loved ones. It's better to be on the attack with these losers than to be attacked here like on Feb.26, 1993 and on Sept.11, 2001. No, I don't believe in a timetable either, if we did that then we're announcing to our enemies when we're pulling out and then they could plan a takeover of a country we have helped free. We are making progress in both of those two countries, but there is still a little more to do before we start pulling out slowly. I hope to God we don't get Obama in the oval office, that's the last thing we need to happen. Yes, I'm sure some will disagree with me, but that's how I feel. I would love to see McCain pick Romney as his vp later this morning in Dayton, but I doubt that it will happen.

so as the media said, america changed forever on 9/11/01. as it became a police state overnight, and right and left they said 'we told you so'. and the finger pointing began even before the dust settled. so its obvious the front is still right here. and who is the enemy of its own People, the People are. the People vs. the People. and our communist masters feel 'we are getting better' all the time. how kind of them to let us 'be'. with 1001 conditions. there are 200 thousand persians in woodland hills, ca who all work in our defense industry there. especially weapons research. so the front is in persia? sure. and how many illegal aliens are there in the u.s.a.? custer was a great guy ya know. the battle of the little big horn was over before it began. outnumbered? yes. notice how indian casinos are everywhere. and how africa is dying to turn the sahara desert into one vast giant casino complex from somalia to mauritania, and we can then become the 'gambler's planet', and show off wild west shows to the rest of the universe. why we even have gamblers anonymous meetings too, where we bet each other we never gamble again. time to take a risk. he risked it and lost. take no risks. you bet your life, was an old show, hosted by groucho marx. tv game show. if you won, you won like ten dollars. groucho was well known as the original skin flint. jack benny at one time, had a pay phone at his house for the guests, and a pay toilet too. for the guests. you think i'm kiddin? talk about scotsmen?? thrifty. these guys throw their money around like its nothing but cold water or heavy water. take out 500 quintillion swiss franc loans and promise to pay it back after jesus christ returns. that'll be the day. no problem, take 40 million years to pay it off. interest upon interest upon interest. as the debt mounts and mounts and mounts higher and higher and higher, we are reminded, government is a great idea, but no one wants to pay for it. so the rainbows will now sing 'rendezvous with revenue'. by taxed taxes. yes even taxes are taxed. how many times can the same thing be taxed. feel taxed to death? resurrect, so you can pay more taxes. when the cost of the war was considered on 9/11/01, it was estimated to be about 10 trillion dollars. and soon, donald rumsfeld will apologize say it was all a mistake, like robert mcnamara did after vietnam was over, 20 years after it allegedly ended. same old story, twill be their theme in glory, they love to tell the story, of jesus and his love. but things are copasetic. prices are relatively stable. you shoulda seen inflation in argentina. by the time you took the loaf of bread off the shelf and got it to the checkstand, it had gone up 500% in price. lolol.

bury your head in the sand there Luna and keep thinking that shit Maybe she'll find find those weapons of mass destruction if she buries her head in the right place. If you think it is such a wonderful cause, why don't you go over there?
Those places have historically been weird and fucked up, and they will continue to be. All we have done In Iraq is make it weirder and more fucked up. Our men and women lose their lives and limbs. For what?
Some people are so paranoid about terrorists that if Santa Claus was real, they'd shoot him down because he had a funny hat and a beard.

they could plan a takeover of a country we have helped free. Oh yeah, it is so much like paradise over there. So peaceful and beautiful. The epitome of democracy, the land of the free.
We haven't freed shit. Face the facts, we invaded another country for no damned reason. Thanks to Bush/Cheney, what do think America now stands for to most of the world?
Those people will commence to killing themselves all over again today, tomorrow, and into the future.

Thanks to Bush/Cheney, what do think America now stands for to most of the world? Why the fuck should we have to worry about what the rest of the world thinks about us? Most of it is out of jealousy at that Bruce. If we're doing the right thing and it's best for our own cause, and justice is served, then it's the right thing. Yeah, you sound like a true liberal as far as worrying about what some in the outside world thinks of us instead of standing up against bullies that kill and torture their own people and who violate NATO agreements!
We haven't freed shit.
Sounds like you really haven't been paying a lot of attention, Bruce.
Our men and women lose their lives and limbs. For what? Why don't you ask them? They think a lot about our country in wanting to fight and make a difference, and yet you obvisously don't respect how they feel and what they go through. For you to say that you don't agree with the war over there but yet you respect them is fucking laughable. How can you support our troops and yet not respect what they're doing? You liberals make this country look pretty damn weak and the lack of patriotism shown makes me sick. Go ahead and bash our country and worry about what some other parts of the world think about us. We're still the best damn country in the world regardless of people like you who wants to trash us all the time!

. For you to say that you don't agree with the war over there but yet you respect them is fucking laughable. How can you support our troops and yet not respect what they're doing? Straddle, I am going to try not to take this personal, but you are wrong. I love our troops I support them fully.......I do not however support a govt. that sent them in there for no fucking reason except to clean up "Big Daddys" mess. Thinking we shouldnt be in Iraq is in no way saying that we dont support our military.......thats just fucking stupid of you to even think let alone to say........Its not our militarys fault we are in iraq.....they just went where they were ordered...........so they are in Iraq for 9/11...........Damn I really hope things dont go real bad with Russia before your hero Bush is out of office..........or we will be declaring war on Austrailia for it.
Now in response to the OP..........Do you really think that there isnt terrorists in this country right now? Enemy too busy in Iraq? Bin Laden is in Iraq now.........cause I am almost positive that he is the one responsible for 9/11 or according to our govt. anyway.......and hes probably running a 7-11 in california right now...........
and as Bruce says............
Those people will commence to killing themselves all over again today, tomorrow, and into the future. Hard to find a political war with a country who is ready and willing to die for allah.........
All in the all.............the sad thing is..........we have set ourselves up as sitting ducks........we spread our military all over the world.........helping this place.....fighting in that place.............for what? We have alienated most countries.......so if we needed help they would go tell us to fuck ourselves.........and if another country invaded us.........well if it wasnt for the fact that we are allowed to have guns.........and would protect ourselves, our homes and our country........we would be fucked........cause most of our military is somewhere else..........
This is JMHO..........but thank god for our military or we couldnt express our opinions..........

IMHO, we should not be in any Islamic country as a military force. This is not an issue of liberal vs. conservative. Untill we understand the Islamic mindset,we will never understand 911. The Islamic "terrorists' " knows our "system" of government much better than we do,and would like nothing better than to have us stay in these "wars"; stretch our resources to the brink, and divide our country. For the record.the "terrorists" are here biding thier time in this country; they are much more patient than we are. Also if we are doing such a great job in Iraq and the "people there love us,then why did Iraq make a long term deal with China for oil exploration, drilling and refining? I would have thought that Haliburton would have had a "lock" on that.

Just my opinion.......
1. The soldiers go where they are ordered and do their job as they are told to do it. I know around 6 personally who served in Iraq and not all of them agree with whats going on there. 2. Show me the wmd's ! 3. There are terrorists everywhere, and of every color (McVeigh) hiding in our nation and others. They are very patient and wait for the opertune time to strike. 4. There is always going to be battles on this planet and its up to us to try and pick as our leader one who doesnt see the USA as the police force of the planet, or takes us to war over a "family feud" or his own personal agenda's. Just my opinion.......

**Steps on soap box**
I try and avoid these discussions because most of the individuals involved are too opinionated and regardless of what side you are on or what evidence you provide those opinionated individuals have a single mind set which you are not going to change. So why discuss or debate it? That being said let me interject my .02 cents worth into a futile exercise.
First and foremost when 9/11 occurred I watched the second plane hit while sitting at my desk working for the U.S. Army. At that time I stated that we needed to go get the head and the money that orchestrated the attack. To date we have done neither. We did initiate it when we went to Afghanistan to take out Osama Bin Laden and the Al Quata but some how we got misdirected to Saddam Hussein and Iraq. Personally I could give a rat’s ass that Hussein is dead or alive but I am very pissed that Bin Laden is still wasting oxygen.
Before anyone wants to try and “tag” me a liberal I come from a long line of military. I am not a liberal or conservative; I am a realist. I support our military but do not always agree with where and how our government uses them. Unless you “been there, done that” you cannot appreciate what they are sometimes asked to do.
I have yet to see a legitimate argument, debate, excuse, etc for why or how we got our military in Iraq this time except “Saddam Hussein was a bad man”. Granted, but he was not on the world’s top 10 list of bad guys; so why him and not the others? Pure and simple, politics and/or product (in this case the product was oil). Several of the worst dictators/leaders are in African nations yet we don’t go into them to remove the “bad guys” and take them freedom.
I too have strong opinions regarding fighting terrorist or any other force but I do have very strong opinions how and where we use or misuse or military to do it.
But that’s JMHO

Why don't you ask them? Until 12/31/07 I was a veterans job counselor. I listened to them. Many supported the war, many did not, most chose to not talk about it. What do you base your opinions on? Have you spoken with our veterans, are you one? I didn't think so.

No, I don't want fighting on our land, but did that stop the terrorists on 9-11? Did that save any of those lives? Hell No!! And it had nothing to do with where our military was fighting. They decided, they planned and they carried it through.ON OUR LAND! And we still to this days have not caught the bastard. I agree with swyeter, I'm pissed that he is still wasting oxygen. He sits back and laughs at us while being a hero to his people, while our people are losing their lives in Iraq.
It may be wrong to say but I'm glad Hussein is dead, and his sons....but let's be honest, there are plenty more to take their place ..And Will. But the one we needed to get is still out there taunting and most likely planning again..... We are spreading our military so thin that eventually they are all going to be in every country BUT our own and then where will they attack and who will be here to protect us on our own soil?
We haven't freed shit. Face the facts, we invaded another country for no damned reason. Thanks to Bush/Cheney, what do think America now stands for to most of the world? As far as caring what other countries think of us.. we have pissed so many off that we better pray we don't ever need help.
BTW, just my opinions.......and no I'm not a liberal or a conservative...I just care and it all scares the hell out of me as to what my grandchildren will grow up in.

I intuitively believe that as a collective,we're all in trouble. I don't need Fox News to tell me that, and if you watch that channel, your head is more in the sand than mines is.I don't think you accept that this country is in trouble because you're content and compliant,or maybe you do and just keep the blinders on because the stark reality is too much to handle for you.I don't think you'll care until it happens to you directly, but until then, you keep those rose-white-and blue colored glasses on,mkay?
