I once visited Lake Victoria in Canada during a summer. It was the most beautiful place I have ever seen - I think that just might be my #1 vacation spot.

In the US, the beaches just south of Carmel... tide pools... great waves... sigh.
Out of the US.. Ireland/England/Scotland to see all the ancient sites like Stonehenge, Glastonbury Tor, Tara (before the bastards pave over it) The place where my great Grandpa was born... ummm loads of em.

A resort island on the South China Sea! The water is very clear snorkeling or scuba diving very good. Love having a full body massage on the beach 10 feet from the water for an hour for about $8. There are friendly people out standing fresh sea food all the time.

my family has a summer home in Vermont on the top of a mountain that we used to go to every summer. I haven't been there in about 25 years but would love to go back someday
