Those of you who know me well……..know that I have a problem with short term memory…….some days are worse than others…….tonight I was talking to a friend about………..ummmmmmmm……..hmmmm…. .well anyways we were talking and I couldn’t remember what I was going to say and he said “Damn, girl we are going to have to get you adult flash cards” or at least I think that’s what he said. So while we were laughing we got to talking about me writing a blog about them and if I remember correctly he was going to email me to remind me to write the damn blog…….

Now I know the reason why I have short term memory problems I saw enough doctors to have it explained to me………but the last one I saw said to me “You know Dayna, it’s not that big of a thing, in a few years as you get older you would probably be having the same problem anyway” Oh yea that’s reassuring, not only does the asshole tell me there isn’t anything they can do about it but he goes on to say that I am getting old and I was going to start forgetting anyway… …….serves him right that I have forgotten to pay that bill each month.

I was thinking tho that adult flash cards would be perfect for me…something I could make up in a moments notice….probably of something I have already forgotten once and hopefully remembered long enough to make a card for it…..something on the lines of:

Card 1: My significant other’s name is………. (there would be a blank spot with an erasable marker attached…….hey you never know how things are going to work out…….would hate to buy a new set of cards each time a relationship goes down the toilet….)

Card 2: The password for all of your websites and to get into your computer is password………(that way you get a hint each time you open something up and you may not need to use this card at all )

Card 3: Your pin number for the ATM machine is the last 4 numbers on your debit card (you know actually that’s not a bad idea………I wish I had thought of that when I was trying to come up with a number to remember….sad thing is I’ll never remember to do that the next time I need to activate a new pin number )

Card 4: During sex, when he murmurs God baby I love you…..the answer is I love you too……..not “well if you do why the hell didn’t you take out the trash like I asked you too?”

Card 5: When he suggests new sexual positions don’t set in the chair and tell him when he has one figured out let you know and you will join him on the bed…or table….or counter….or shower….or……Remember I like sex, I can join in…….

Card 6: During grocery shopping, remember to take the list you spent 4 hours writing as you went thru your cupboards seeing what items you are out of.

Card 7: Remember that Ynot is your best friend. (Actually I could lose this card………he reminds me often enough of that………….

Card 8: When telling a joke remember the punchline………and the punchline isn’t Oh shit I fucked that joke up didn’t I?

Card 9: My car keys are in my car. (That way I can find them easier……..if I can remember where I parked the car.)

Card 10: sexual positions……..missionary……..I need to be on my back…(sometimes legs spread….sometimes legs up around my ears)….doggie style……..i need to be on hands and knees…….(barking is not needed) side by side……ok self explanatory……Me on top…..only thing to remember here is the key word is MOVE!!! …oral sex…….NO BITING!!! THIS ISN’T FAST FOOD!! Standing up sex…….one foot on the dresser………Remember this one is impossible for me……..I am a klutz and will fall and break my friggin’ neck…… …..Remember if he suggests any other positions ask for pictures to confirm the fact that it is physically possible for me to do……………

Ok I think this is a good start on adult flash cards for me………I am sure as time goes on someone will tell me of new ones I have to make up…….I just hope they stay with me while they are being made or I will never remember to make them up………….
