Okay, I understand why some people do not upload pics. Some have to be careful and descreet....I have no face pics for this very reason...I AM CUTE!!
However the least you could do is load your page with information about your self. Give us a reason to be interested!! Take the time to fill in your likes and dislikes. Let your personality shine through your writings. Give someone a reason to want to learn more... to chat more. If you dont have pics and you dont fill out your essays etc...what is there? How can an attraction exsist? Does anyone else feel this way or is it just me?

Why are you scared to share your picture. That's just sad. No one remembers the sunflowers and crayons that put us in gear, but they will acknowledge an old man. Sister, I have been slapped in the face enough times to know that with great power comes great responsibility. The Die cast can be eliminated in ninja installments, but the real career of videogame making is uncovered for the old movement which it is; a conspiracy.

No. It isn;t just you.
Most guys just don't get it. They don't post pics and they write anything about themselves. They don;t bother to read all the nice things females write.
And worse yet, sometimes they tell me how much they loved my profile and pics. Fuckin' liarsThey never even looked. . They just send the same impersonal msg to any female online, or in their search, hoping something sticks.
Then again they may simply be blind  . I think I know why...

Ah hun....it's that age old huge gap between man and woman...you know....she speaks ten thousand words to his two....  Besides, it isn't macho to "talk yourself up" or it appears that way.
Way back when I was "still looking", nearly empty profiles would frustrated me too and I'd think how stupid men were to think they could attract a women with just 'being there'.
Now I realize women are verbal...men just aren't. They've yet to realize that to "sell themselves" there has to be a liberal amount of advertising.
Then too, if they're not looking for a committed relationship....and most aren't..they're leary of putting too much of themselves 'out there'. Filling out a good profile is time comsuming and I think they see it as a waste of their time. Hence you see profiles that say all through them.."Tell ya later..."  I personally see those kinds of profiles as written by men who are just plain lazy.

I don't think it's primarily a male/female issue, I believe it reflects our society as a whole. There are an awful lot of people out there who want something for nothing. They want quick, easy, with the least amount of effort on their part.
You notice it in the men more because you're viewing more men than you do women. I've seen many women's profiles with exactly the same shortcomings.
So look at mine, or many of the other regular males who conrtibute to blogs. We have pics and essays, and are often contacted by women with really weak profiles and one teaser photo. Of course, they want us to bring them over from africa or russia or wherever and they are going to make us happy forever. All we need to do is send them a check. LOL
By the way BBW, I think you're cute without the face pics.

I totally agree. People don't have to give their life story, but give a little info in the essay.
Personally, I'm more attracted to the essays than the pics.
