Who should be McCain and Obama's running mates? posted 8/13/2008 5:20:07 AM | 0 kudos what's this?     report abuse tagged: straddle, race, politics, election, vote   StraddleMyNose There's a lot of talk about both McCain and Obama making their choice for their running mate. I've heard names batted and thrown around over the past few weeks. I will give my opinion on whom McCain should pick as his running mate. I would love to see Portman on the ticket with McCain. He would make one hell of a choice I feel. If I had to pick the next best choice that would be Romney. Not sure that will ever happen since both can't really stand each other. I'm not going to share my thoughts on whom Obama should pick, but lets just say that he has a few names he's considering as well. 	I really think Obama should pick OPRAH! She really likes him, and it would give Stedman some breathing room.

	Being serious here, and answering from the perspective of who would be best for the country if either man became president, I would go with Bill Richardson for Obama and Joe Lieberman for McCain.
