I`ve heard different prices of gas .....now how can that be ...? What is the price in your area .....Here it is ...around $3.71 - $ 3.75 . Last week it was still $ 3. 95. I`m curious to see if any of it makes sense on where you live and how much you are paying .... Thank you ....Have a Spectacular Day ! J

Gas here is averaging $4.09...higher than most of the lower 48. I think the national average is $3.87 or something.

I just got gas (a whopping 3 gallons, BTW) and it's dropped a little more. I paid $3.47; it ranges from that to $3.65 here. And, no, it doesn't make sense - and, no, nobody's gettin' a kiss first . . . .

My brother and I converted all our farm and ranch equipment including our personal vehicles to methane power. Our methane generating composting plant now covers almost 5 acres; besides giving us a surplus of renewable non-polluting energy, the heat that is generated by our plant heats our home in the winter, and powers our small steam turbine for our electrical needs.

Here is something of interest with regards to the price of gas.
In 1981 the average price for a gallon of gas was $1.38 per gallon. In 2000 when George Bush took office the average price per gallon had increased to $1.54; that is a 16 cent increase over 20 years. Yesterday the average price per gallon was $3.79; after dropping from an average high of was $4.09 per gallon on July 1, 2008. Even at the current $3.79 that is an increase of $2.25 per gallon in 8 years of Bush.

With my job I fill up everyday regardless of the price. I think it was $3.75 yesterday. The reason it's dropping is so we can be closer together.

Here (about an hour north of the Ys and Lisa) the going rate seems to be about $3.77 a gallon. Was hoping it would come down a little more but guess not. Can't keep driving on the fumes and will have to gas 'er up today. *sigh*
