The wolf part might hurt your argument. His past doesn't disturb me as much as his rhetoric. He sounds like a demigod at times. I support Willie, and Alice Cooper for VP (or maybe the other way around). I doubt I'll vote in this election, after I believe that the majority of us led the vote to keep Bush and his VP in office for another four years of decadence. Then again, I'm not really following things.
By the way, if we are to fight anything, we need to refit our military to run on alternative fuels.

Early life and career

Obama was born on August 4, 1961, at the Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Obama, Sr., a Black Kenyan of Nyang’oma Kogelo, Siaya District, Kenya, and Ann Dunham, a White American from Wichita, Kansas. His parents met while attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where his father was a foreign student.[3] They separated when he was two years old and later divorced.[4] Obama's father returned to Kenya and saw him only once more before dying in an automobile accident in 1982.[5] After her divorce, Dunham married Lolo Soetoro, and the family moved to Soetoro's home country of Indonesia in 1967, where Obama attended local schools in Jakarta until he was ten years old. He then returned to Honolulu to live with his maternal grandparents while attending Punahou School from the fifth grade in 1971 until his graduation from high school in 1979.[6] Obama's mother returned to Hawaii in 1972 for several years and then back to Indonesia for her fieldwork. Following high school, Obama moved to Los Angeles, where he studied at Occidental College for two years.[8] He then transferred to Columbia University in New York City, where he majored in political science with a specialization in international relations.[9] Obama graduated with a B.A. from Columbia in 1983, then worked for a year at the Business International Corporation[10] and then at the New York Public Interest Research Group.[11][12]
After four years in New York City, Obama moved to Chicago to work as a community organizer for three years from June 1985 to May 1988 as director of the Developing Communities Project (DCP), a church-based community organization originally comprising eight Catholic parishes in Greater Roseland (Roseland, West Pullman, and Riverdale) on Chicago's far South Side.[11][13] During his three years as the DCP's director, its staff grew from 1 to 13 and its annual budget grew from $70,000 to $400,000, with accomplishments including helping set up a job training program, a college preparatory tutoring program, and a tenants' rights organization in Altgeld Gardens.[14] Obama also worked as a consultant and instructor for the Gamaliel Foundation, a community organizing institute.[15] In mid-1988, he traveled for the first time to Europe for three weeks then Kenya for five weeks where he met many of his Kenyan relatives for the first time.[16]
Obama entered Harvard Law School in late 1988 and at the end of his first year was selected as an editor of the Harvard Law Review based on his grades and a writing competition.[17] In his second year he was elected president of the Law Review, a full-time volunteer position functioning as editor-in-chief and supervising the law review's staff of 80 editors.[18] Obama's election in February 1990 as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review was widely reported and followed by several long, detailed profiles.[18] He graduated with a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard in 1991 and returned to Chicago where he had worked as a summer associate at the law firms of Sidley & Austin in 1989 and Hopkins & Sutter in 1990.[17][19]

In politics, the decay of truth is so constant, it is amazing we do anything other than kill each other with our fears.
There are some facts in the blog, but the facts are buried by ideological spinning. Questions that might be legitimate are raised, to be pummeled by ideological spinning. And then you can see in the responses, how ideology creates followers with similar fears and similar willingness to be mesmerized by the spinning.
We're a nation in need of insight and action TOGETHER to find our way successfully to the future. Such spinning and herd back-slapping keeps us afraid of one another, so afraid we seek to spin rather than understand. Lacking understanding, there is no path forward together.
Voters, given REAL information and data to work with, can do great things. Given ideology, they will help build the walls implicit in ideology's base fears and look at one another with suspicion, dread and at minimum, ill-will. One nation...neighbors afraid of neighbors, worshipping spinning delivered through idiot-boxes, talk radio, and internet.
Not too bright a future.

Its a nice metaphor, but it loses credibility when you realize the current president is only there off the back of his fathers power and a rigged election.... honestly dig a little deeper, what right right has "Dubya" got to be in office. The truth is Democracy died a long time ago, if it ever truly lived at all. Misinformation has become the ultimate weapon, because all media is controlled by the people at the top, there fore the people at the top are controlling you, by feeding you these lies and tricking the majority to back there totalitarian policies, for example, how many of your freedoms have been taken away since 9/11? (the same thing is happening in my home, England)
We as people have to wake up too this fact, because many of there evils are done in our name, the world doesn't see Bush as the enemy, It sees America and AMERICANS...... (Trust me, outside of America, You are the villians, the War on Terror is a War OF Terror, and I hang my head in shame that my country is your closest ally...)
Things are never going to change because you could be the greatest most decent Politician to walk the earth, but unless your part of a corrupt system (therefore corrupt yourself) you'll never get the chance to change things anyway.........

Perhaps it's better to choose to vote FOR a candidate, rather than AGAINST one.
I had decided months ago that I could live with Giuliani as the Republican nominee, since
all the talking heads proclaimed that McCain had no chance. To me, Giuliani is
a touch too liberal, but since McCain was apparently out of the running, Rudy would
have to do.
Lo and behold, McCain is right where I hoped he would be, in contention for the highest
office in the land. Meanwhile, the Democratic candidate who I thought didn't stand
a chance will face McCain on the November ballot.
Sure, McCain has his faults. So does Obama (BIG time, IMO). My feelings are that
experience counts for the majority of a candidate's qualifications. Mr. McCaine has
compiled DECADES of experience, and is more familiar with the system. Gotta go
McCain, this election...

I have read and studied both candidates this year. I think the voters of this great county have been lied to and misled be the people we sent to represent us. I have found good and bad things about both of them. I weigh the pros and cons and decide who to vote for. The number one thing I look at is which one can do the most good for the country. That doesn't mean they will do it. the president is a puppet on a string after the first four month.
The candidate I have decided to back is John Mccain. I will vote this election and all others because a no vote in my opinion gives me the right to bitch when they screw up. If you don't take your chance to voice your opinion by voting the wonderful people running this country will find a way to take it away.

I am amazed at the number of people who have decided who they will vote for without really examining the candidates.
I *** REALLY *** wish Ron Paul would be elected.
(Write the name in instead of just voting for
one of the primary winners?)
Ron is the only candidate committed to getting us out
of Iraq as quickly as possible.
Question: If a foreign power had stepped in to stop
Sherman from burning Atlanta and other locations in
the South, would we be thankful that a stop had been
put to that barbaric activity?
Or would we still be holding a grudge against "infidel's"
meddling with Our internal affairs?
I believe that most, if not all, of Peach's statements
are valid. (And I am not just saying that because

He is not a good orator, he IS gifted.
And his choice of words is compelling.
I honestly like his personna. If I could believe
the Executive Branch is only one third of the government,
I would consider voting for him. But, we and our wimpy Congress have allowed President to be synonamous with King.

CAN OBAMA BE PRESIDENT?
It seems that Barack Obama is not qualified to be president after all for the following reason:
Barack Obama is not legally a U.S. natural-born citizen according to the law on the books at the time of his birth, which falls between "December 24, 1952 to November 13, 1986? Presidential office requires a natural-born citizen if the child was not born to two U.S. citizen parents, which of course is what exempts John McCain though he was born in the Panama Canal .. US Law very clearly stipulates: ".If only one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for at least ten years, at least five of which had to be after the age of 16." Barack Obama's father was not a U.S. citizen and Obama's mother was only 18 when Obama was born, which means though she had been a U.S. citizen for 10 years, (or citizen perhaps because of Hawaii being a territory) the mother fails the test for being so for at least 5 years **prior to** Barack Obama's birth, but *after* age 16. It doesn't matter *after* . In essence, she was not old enough to qualify her son for automatic U.S. citizenship. At most, there were only 2 years elapsed since his mother turned 16 at the time of Barack Obama's birth when she was 18 in Hawaii. His mother would have needed to have been 16+5= 21 years old, at the time of Barack Obama's birth for him to have been a natural-born citizen. As aforementioned, she was a young college student at the time and was not. Barack Obama was already 3 years old at that time his mother would have needed to have waited to have him as the only U.S. Citizen parent. Obama instead should have been naturalized, but even then, that would still disqualify him from holding the office.
*** Naturalized citizens are ineligible to hold the office of President. *** Though Barack Obama was sent back to Hawaii at age 10, all the other info does not matter because his mother is the one who needed to have been a U.S. citizen for 10 years prior to his birth on August 4, 1961, with 5 of those years being after age 16. Further, Obama may have had to have remained in the country for some time to protect any citizenship he would have had, rather than living in Indonesia. Now you can see why Obama's aides stopped his speech about how we technically have more than 50 states, because it would have led to this discovery. This is very clear cut and a blaring violation of U.S. election law. I think the Gov. of California would be very interested in knowing this if Obama were elected President without being a natural-born U.S. citizen, and it would set precedence. Stay tuned to your TV sets because I suspect some of this information will be leaking through over the next several days.
