Big improvement over the other night. And probably better for me than hearing Buckcherry's I'm Sorry over and over (but, still love the song). Anyone ever hear this one? Adore the horn parts of it.... (posted it in videos for those of you that are unfamiliar with it)
So, what is today's ear worm for you?
It's About Time Lyrics Artist(Band):Jamie Cullum
Walking down to the water's edge, where I have been before If I don’t find my love sometime, I’m walking out that door Some may come and some may go, but no one seems to be The person I’ve been searching for, the one who’s meant for me
Biding my time, trying to find the heart that’s lonely Looking for her, my love, my one and only Maybe I’ll dream, tonight about the girl, who’ll be coming my way So I’ll take this chance and celebrate the day When I’m making my way through an open door I got some love and so much more And I’m ready, to make someone mine Making my way through an open door I got some love and so much more And I’ll find her 'Cause it’s about time
Tried too hard and it feels just like you’re running on thin air Why does love happen by surprise, if you don’t really care The past is gone; the flames are out from fires that have burned New ideals and different thoughts from lessons I have learnt
Biding my time, trying to find the heart that’s lonely Looking for her, my love, my one and only Maybe I’ll dream, tonight about the girl, who’ll be coming my way So I take this chance and celebrate the day When I’m making my way through an open door I got some love and so much more And I’m ready, to make someone mine Making my way through an open door I got some love and so much more And I’ll find her 'Cause it’s about time
Got the feeling this could take a pretty long while, to find that smile I’ll put my faith in another piece of good advice, well I tried that twice Waiting for a little something more, to inspire, take me higher
And I’m ready to make someone mine I’m making my way through an open door I got some love and so much more And I’ll find her 'Cause it’s about time it's about time (3x)

Never heard it but i will have to download it and listen to it..........the song that keeps rattling around in my head today is
She Wasn't Good Enough For Him by Reba McEntire
She was good at late night listening When he'd call her on the phone She was good to come and get him When he couldn't make it home She was good to make love to And they did now and then She was good to never ask When he'd be back again
CHORUS: She wasn't good enough for him For his family or his friends He kept her out there on a limb Wouldn't let her go, wouldn't let her in She wasn't good enough for him
She was there on his bad days And for years he led her on We all knew she had a bad case He was doing her all wrong She couldn't bring herself to do the right thing Break it off and say goodbye 'Til she overheard him one night tellin' Somebody on the side that
Repeat Chorus
She was good at late night listening When he'd call her on the phone
I have it posted in Videos..........Video

Here's one I been humming all day, i think the driver is getting tired hearing it already
I think I fin'lly know you I can see beyond your smile I think that I can show you That what we've had is still worthwhile Don't you know that love's just like a thread That keeps unraveling but then It ties us back together in the end
CHORUS: In your eyes I can see my dream's reflections In your eyes I found the answers to my questions In your eyes I can see the reasons why our love's alive In your eyes We're drifting safely back to shore (And) I think I've fin'lly learned to love you more
And she warns me that life changes And that no one really knows Whether time would make us strangers Or whether time would make us grow Even though the winds of time will change In a world where nothing stays the same Through it all our love will still remain
CHORUS: In your eyes I can see my dream's reflections In your eyes I found the answers to my questions In your eyes I can see the reasons why our love's alive In your eyes We're drifting safely back to shore (And) I think I've fin'lly learned to love you more
In your eyes I can see the reasons why our love's alive You and I We're driftin' safely back to shore I think I've fin'lly learned to love you more I think I've fin'lly know you I fin'lly love you I see it all In your eyes

I recently invested in a digital converter box for my TV which is equipped with only rabbit ears (Go ahead, say it: "Cheap ass!") Suddenly, instead of just one PBS station, I have SEVEN!
One night, while watching a special about John Denver, they showed an interview with his ex wife, who was speaking about a song he wrote for her shortly before he died:
Perhaps Love by John Denver
Perhaps love is like a resting place A shelter from the storm It exists to give you comfort It is there to keep you warm And in those times of trouble When you are most alone The memory of love will bring you home
Perhaps love is like a window Perhaps an open door It invites you to come closer It wants to show you more And even if you lose yourself And don`t know what to do The memory of love will see you through
Oh, love to some is like a cloud To some as strong as steel For some a way of living For some a way to feel And some say love is holding on And some say letting go And some say love is everything And some say they don`t know
Perhaps love is like the ocean Full of conflict, full of pain Like a fire when it`s cold outside Or thunder when it rains If I should live forever And all my dreams come true My memories of love will be of you
Perhaps love is like the mountains Full of conflict, full of change Like a fire when it`s cold outside Or thunder when it rains If I should live forever And all my dreams come true My memories of love will be of you

I heard "Quinn The Eskimo", by Manfred Mann over the weekend, and now I want to shoot myself.
I not even a big fan of the song, but I can't get it out of my head.
Ev'rybody's building the big ships and the boats, Some are building monuments, Others, jotting down notes, Ev'rybody's in despair, Ev'ry girl and boy But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here, Ev'rybody's gonna jump for joy. Come all without, come all within, You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn.
