Lay your head upon my breast
Listen to the gentle pounding of my heart
Do you know what it says?
Each beat echoes out my love for you
It sings of my life that has been renewed
Its quiet rhythm tells that I am peace
When you are beside me
It speaks in soft whispering tones
Of a love that will last a lifetime.
