Name That Tune...... posted 7/20/2008 12:12:58 PM | 1 kudo what's this?     report abuse   DesertSmile Life has kept me busy the past few weeks and while I have been reading and enjoying the blogs from time to time I haven't had the time to post. I recently was compelled to purchase a new car, it wasn't in my budget by any means but 3 weeks of being without a car while my 8 yr. old one was in and out of the shop for major repairs and facing yet more repairs I opted to cut my losses and buy a new car. One of the many features of my new car is a 6-disc CD changer. A good friend in celebration of my new car bought me a iPod Nano as well. God I finally made it to the 21st Century. As most of you know I love music and I am having a blast loading the iPod with my collection of CD's. Yesterday I took a 4-hour drive just to escape and enjoy a trip without fear of breaking down. Needless to say the music was blaring as I sailed through Joshua Tree National Park (cactus don't care how loud the music is). Then it happened...one of my all time favorite songs loaded now it's stuck in my head. A day later I am still humming. So....Name That Tune - without Googling....LOL The night was clear, and the moon was yellow And the leaves came tumblin' down. . . 	Congrats on the New Ride!! and the iPod....! I recently bought a mp3 player.... OMG.. its so awesome!!! I can listen to music all day...with out touching a button!!! lol As far as the Song/Tune goes.. I dont have a Clue!! lmfao!

	Ok well, i cheated & looked not going to answer though but must say that this is a tough one unless you like this style of music you aren't going to know it chuckle...can't wait for the next one desert. Tease.

	Your right Tease...I grew up on this style of music so it's engrained into me. My money is on WOW that he will know the tune.

	Ash....Good girl. But OMG I could not even watch your version I much prefer the older more original versions. My favorite by a little known artist George Griffin. I have his CD but I could not find a video anywhere of him singing it. Makes me wish I had videoed one of the may performances of him I saw.
