Being honest, I originally signed on as whim many years ago. Currently, my motivation is to banter and interact with people mostly via blogs. On weekdays especially, this site often is an alternative to TV and playing cards with my computer.
I work from home and the computer is never off. I am at the beckoning call of clients worldwide and that usually comes via email. For example, if I am working with people in the UK, I am up at 2:00 AM my time because it is 8:00 AM in London. So I need something to do while waiting around like a pilot in a WW II ready room for the order to scramble.
This a small site and new folks should run a search of their parameters so as to discover realistic potential. It is common to only find less than a dozen ladies within 50 miles that have been active in the last two weeks. For practical reasons, it is almost best to not to expect to have the opportunity to meet anyone in person for any reason.
I have been on here for years and there is only one person reasonably close that I have any interest in meeting that has any interest in meeting me and I reside in an area where there are five million people within 50 miles of me.
Despite the fakes females and shallow male jerks, there are a lot of very nice people on this site that are very real.

Originally I came here with the hopes of finding Love and possibly Sex. A soul mate so to speak. A companion. Someone I could spend the rest of my life with.
Someone to love, honor, respect, comfort, cherish, and adore. Because I have a heart that is so filled with love to give it's ready to burst. And although, yes I was looking for sex too. That is the least of what I wanted. I wanted the whole package.
But as time went by, I seen that was not to be. So I stuck around for all the wonderful friends I have made on here. Someone to talk with, to break the boredom of sitting at home alone each and every night. And yes there are many really nice and wonderful people on this site, along with the scam artist and idiots.

One thing I've noticed in the short time I've been here is that everyone is really friendly, in addition to being pervs. I've gotten more emails in the past week than I did the entire two years I've been on the regular MD. But that's partly my fault, as I haven't been shy here, as I am on the other MD. Yeah, me be shy! Maybe because I'm more comfortable here in Pervia!

I don't even remember why I joined I can only tell you why I stay and that is the people here and the blogs. Of course this is totally opposite of the intention of the site but for me it works.
I have tried other blogs for "my generation" and they are so F****** boring I could scream. If anyone dares raise a controversial subject (not necessarily of a sexual nature) you are abmonished like a 5 year old.
Sure we have craziness from time to time but that is what makes this site great. Many find what they are looking for and the rest of us sit on the side lines cheering them on.

This is very true, provided that somebody is willing to relocate. Actually, a couple of people from here got married recently and it involved her moving from I believe Michigan to the UK. One of my pen pals that used to be on here that I keep in touch with almost daily is happily married and she relocated from Berlin to Canada. Another couple I know from here through emails got together but it involved a relocation from Indiana I think to one of the Carolinas. You get the picture.
