Is sex a sport? posted 7/18/2008 10:46:00 PM | 0 kudos what's this?     report abuse   manwithoutahorse Several blogs recently have discussed sports which got me thinking: Should sex be considered a sport? There seem to be many parallels. As a young man I was asked if I "got to first base". Later in life I was asked if I "scored". Going all the way was considered a "home run". On occassion I've "jabbed", "thrusted", "tackled" and "shot my wad". What parallels do you draw? Both giving and receiving. Many more come to mind but I'm curious what you think. Batter up! 	On an adult site, maybe? lol Sex should be between two people who love each other. It should not be taken very lightly. Now if you just want a quicky, I guess it would be just a quicky LOL

	Sex isn't a sport since out of shape people can do it as well as the fit people. Then again, out of shape people play golf, baseball and bowling. Are those are considered sports?

	Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the UK, sporty can mean horny or sexually adventurous. Does that make us good sports? I had a lover a while ago who referred to fucking as a "round." When she needed a break, she would ask for a timeout. Another lover would keep score of the orgasms, too. I would always lose by a margin of 2 to 1. On a good night, it was more like 3 to 1. When I turned 40, a co-worker's wife (they were also neighbors) baked me a cake. The candle was shaped like the number 40 and the base said "40 and sporty." I've always wondered if she had the same interpretation as I did. Even though she was 15 years older, I thought she was sexy as hell. I've always wondered if she was hinting at something and I missed it. So, yeah, sex can be a sport. Probably won't see it in the Olympics, though!
