I'm new here and was wondering how to tell the real people from the fake ones as i really hate trying to talk to people that don't exist

If they want to communicate with you on their personal email - elete it. I get about one or two a day. Subject is "Hi" or "Hello" No long and different essay is a fake.

If they write you and their grammar and spelling sux...more than likely it's a scam.

Otherwise, best I can tell you is you will have to figure it out.

btw...Welcome to AMD, kick back and have fun.

I think a good way to tell is by their profile. If they've posted blogs and posted in the forums then they are most likely real. If they have shout-outs then they are usually real. You can also tell by what they put in their essays. It might take a little bit, but you will figure out how to tell who is real and who isn't. Good luck

First Clue: The subject line reads "No Subject" or "Meet me on (whatever messenger service")

Second Clue: They ask for an alternative email address in the body of the email.

Third Clue: Read their email out loud then read it again with a foreign accent. If it makes more sense the second time around, there ya go!

Final Clue: They are under 21 seeking guys up to 80 years old.

Advice: Browse the blogs and forums to see who is real. This place is chock full of good folks who happen to be real, too.

Enjoy the ride!

it seems the fake women seem heavily interested in sex. Not always, but if it seems you as a man have an unusual amount in common with the woman, she's likely to be a fake. At least, that's been my experience.

Excellent point. In the essays, the fakes won't fill out very many sections and have things like "ask me" as the answers. Most real women put forth a genuine effort to communicate and are successful. Another clue is British spelling, words like "organisation" of "colour" for example.

On the main profile look for things that don't make sense like the woman describing herself as slim yet listing her weight as 250 pounds and often prefer men from 18-45. They also cite that they definitely want children. This sentiment will also be expressed in essays. Real women do not openly come out and say that they are looking for the father of their future children in their essays.
