In grade school, the older kids called me "Dirty Harry," from the Clint Eastwood character.
In HS, I was called "Spaz," after the character from the movie "Meatballs." Sadly, it was somewhat accurate at the time. I stayed out of the lockers, though!
In college, a friend called me "SFB," short for "Shit for Brains." it was accurate only when I was drunk, which was fairly often in those years.
Co-workers in my first job after college called me "The Head," because I had "bright orange hair like a basketball head."
Had a buddy later on call me "Fucker" simply because I was dating and he wasn't. When he was stoned, which was nearly every afternoon around 4:00 (yeah, he couldn't wait!), I became Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucker.
I was "Lover Boy" to an incredible lady in Atlanta for 4 years when I lived there. That was one I think I earned!

In grade school a few of my teachers called me Teri because there were so many Teresas in the class. I HATED it!!
Later I got called Little Bit because I was so small..Boy, how things change..  I'd lol, but it's not funny..  That nickname stuck for quite a while.
Then a really good friend started calling me Teak...Not real sure why, he said he just liked it for me....He still calls me that to this day if we run into each other... It's stuck for about 32 years now.... 
Umm, does bitch count as a nickname? 
Yep, too much thinking time on your hands.... .but should prove to be a fun blog..

Oh Lordy, Memories. Growing up, I was Boots. I had a pair of black rubber boots from an uncle when I was about 5. Mom had tanned my ass for wading in the creek so hence the boots. HS was The Hammer. I had a knack for hitting a baseball a long way. Minors, The Shy One, given by the radio announcer because the ladies hanging around the park took great pleasure in making me blush. Navy, The Grimlin. We'll let that one ride.

By the time my brother was eight, his head was as big as an adult's, so myself and all of the kids in the neighborhood called him Biggie.
My daughter goes by Marti as she hates her real name, Marita, because to her it sounds hispanic.
Quite a few of my late mother's older siblings had life long nick names because their real names tended to be awful and they hated them: Orville, Franklin, Gertrude, Bertha, Clarence

Well i never had a real nick name other than my brother use to torture me and call me ding-a-lomg cause my name was dayna lynn..........and he said our parents only named me that because they thuoght ding-a-ling was to cruel but he usually got smacked by my mom when he called me that..........other than that the only other nickname i ever had was my late husband always called me Pookie........at first i really hated it tho i never told him that.....and later it grew on me........now i miss hearing him call me that.

My nickname that stuck is xxena because of my resemblance to the character in the show. It came on when I lived in New Zealand still and my friends said ... hey it's you.
All the guys have always called me Dangerous Curves though.... hehehe
Up here in Alaska they call me Sparky or Kiwi.
