Some friends and I are doing an online magazine for local music around the Indianapolis area. It's called Band*Aid Online Magazine. www.bandaidmag.com
We do interviews with local bands, host shows and generally try to help the music scene in any way we can.
Tonight was a busy night. We got to interview the executive director of Rockstar Productions. They do about the same thing we do except that they work directly with the bands on specific shows and they also try to get some more famous bands and have local talent open up for them. More on that later...
We also got to interview Thrive and Closure, two local bands that opened up for Days of the New this evening in Indianapolis. I'm sure some of you remember Days of the New. Thrive and Closure are both great bands and great guys.
And finally...as if the evening wasn't good enough, interviewing all these people, getting to see Days of the New live, especially after 7 years of nothing from them...oh no, it gets much better.
We got to interview Travis Meeks himself. If you don't know who he is, then you most likely don't know Days of the New. He is the lead singer and, now, basically IS Days of the New. It's his project, his record label...he is the man. And we got to interview him. Oh yeah! 
Just thought I'd share that wonderful tidbit with everyone. I can't tell you how excited we are.
