We met in a small cafe and i knew her instantly from her picture on A M D
Her voice was soft and warm; she was much to fine a lady, for a bastard like me
Her smile was like the rising sun and in her eyes a man could become lost,
never to return.
Years of searching had come to an end.
But what could i say or do, but just set there like a fool.
I searched for words that would not come.
Yet i needed to tell her that she was the one.
I knew and feared; a lifetime of waiting was about to walk out of my life
When a knowing smile touched her lips;
As she said, "Just lead the way."
