Should Israel attack Iran? posted 6/27/2008 7:20:55 PM | 3 kudos what's this?     report abuse tagged: news, war, straddle, world   StraddleMyNose How many of you have been following the news over the past week regarding Israel's test runs with their air force in preparing for an attack on Iran because of the threat of nuclear weapons? Iran has threatened Israel about attacking them. A major terrorist group has now threatened the U.S. that if that were to happen this group (which they say have cells in the U.S., South America, and Europe) will attack inside our country. I personally think this group is full of shit and I say I hope Israel attacks Iran and takes out what Iran has in regards to the nuclear reactor. Iran is said to be getting pretty close to their desire to have nuclear weapons to possibly use on Isreal down the road. Israel really can't afford to do nothing, and time is running out. 	If they do, it is certain to have serious repercussions; but at least they have the "balls",the experience,and the ability to do what the rest of the world is scared to do. JMHO.

	If Israel is 100% convinced an attack is imminent...they have the right to defend themselves in a manner they see fit...and if that means destroying the nuclear reactor in Iran...then that's their call. As for the terrorist group threatening strikes here in the US if Israel does so.......let them try.....they will see how fast and deadly our soldiers can be.

	If I was an Isrealie...I would hope my government would protect me from any threats ..particularly nuclear. Hopefully Iran will negotiate like North Korea has before it comes to war.

	Israel has nukes and one of the best air forces in the world. I think they made their point. With all due respect, I am not so sure that you did. Aren't there enough problems in that region without going cowboy? The perspective that you advocate is kind of like responding to a pot boiling over on the stove by turning up the burner.

Aren't there enough problems in that region without going cowboy? My point is Israel knows that they can not sit around and act like fucking liberals with their thumbs stuck up their asses and hope the big bad problem will go away on it's own. If they did that then they might as well kiss their asses goodbye since Iran is more than likely to attack them regardless down the road with these nuclear weapons.
