I do not recall too many of the fine folks here knowing that I am an avid Photographer. One of my hobbies that I get to enjoy while doing other hobbies. A hobby within a hobby. I've been taking photos for 15 years now and have aquired quite a collection of them. Most would be able to reason that it takes hundreds of frames to get one really good shot. After so many years I know have a large number of display worthy frames.
I came up with the idea of mounting and displaying some of my shots on the walls of my home. Whereas most people have artwork on their walls, I will have photos. I decided that all of these images should be in large print with a suitable frame to match.
I have room for around 35 large framed images throughout the house. Then after talking to my daughter about the idea, she and I decided that each room should have a theme and colors to match.
Now, I have many photos to chose from but this new idea creates the need for more images to suit each room. Because my daughter and I share the same interest in photography we both now have a goal to achive. To fill our home with art that we create.
I just wanted to share this idea with the fine folks here, to maybe inspire you to do something simular.
