That's too cool.
My best first date wasn't suppose to be a date. It was my senior year and about 20 of us, guys and girls were suppose to meet at the high school one Saturday morning for a trip to a local park for a picnic. Since I was riding with someone else I walked up to the school and so did Tonya. I made a huge tuperware dish full of ham and cheese on Ritz cracker sandwiches. I got there early since the time had changed so I could tell anyone else that had arrived early. The original time was 8 am, then it was 9 am and finally 10 am was the agreed on time. I got there around 9 and met a girl there that I'd never met before. Her name was Tonya and she was waiting like me for a ride to the picnic. About 9:45 it started to rain so Tonya and I ducked for cover in the baseball dugout. The rain came down hard for about 45 minutes. The dugout faced the opposite direction of the parking lot. As best as we could guess since nobody could see us they went on without us. Tonya and I had an amazing time. We used the crackers as spoons and ate her macaroni salad and ate almost all my little Ritz sandwiches. We stayed together for almost a year. She had to move and I never saw her again.

I don't know Dayna, one of my first dates was going to the mountains with a group and getting stuck. So not only did we have to sit for 3 hours till we got out, we tried helping and in the mean time I lost my shoes in the knee high mud, was home 3 hours late. I was sooo busted.
So your sounds like lots of fun!

That would be my first and only double date I went on back in the summer of 1984 with Tash's mom.

I actually had a first date where the woman got sick and we had to go to the hospital. The first date is not the best time to let your boyfriend hold a vial of your urine sample while you are hovering over a garbage can in case you have to hurl.

You know that I am absolutely thrilled you had such a great date.... He sounds like he would be a blast.
When you hit the water is probably the scream, we heard way back here in Ohio earlier today..lol
So what was the most unorthodox first date that turned out to be a great date for you? That would probably be meeting a certain someone at the airport and everything that happened from there..... Not your typical dinner and a movie boring date..

That's awesome. I once was invited to go Mudding. With trucks. In a 1/4 mile race. I ended up so dirty and covered in mud....but I had a blast and would love doing it again!

how bout one in a certain hotel parking lot rollin around the back of a SUV?  ummmm did i mention that date is STILL going on and we'll be moving it into our new home next saturday?? 
*the mrs' ponders being a chaperone on the 2nd date just to get a ride on the ATV*
