Well Memorial Day is almost upon us. I know for most its a day to rest and play. But I hope some will take the time to remember what the day really means.
It is a time to honor the fallen men and women who have given their lives for this country. A few ways to do this is to go to a local cemetery and plant some flowers on a grave. Most have flags of them to identify them. Another way is to fly your flag at half staff from dawn until noon local time.
It is also a good time to thank a vet who is still alive.
So while most of you are enjoying a three day weekend I hope you will take the time to stop and pay homage the men and women in uniform who have given so much of themselves so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have today.
