Young Elvis vs. Old Elvis...Which do you prefer? posted 5/17/2008 5:54:43 PM | 2 kudos what's this?     report abuse tagged: straddle, elvis, singing   StraddleMyNose Over the years I have known a lot of women to prefer the younger Elvis because of the sex appeal. I know others prefer the older version of Elvis himself because of the strong character with the high energy level in the jumpsuit with long sideburns. I'm not too much of an Elvis fan, but he did have very good songs and the ability to entertain millions of people. Yes, he is a legend. I enjoy watching the classic Elvis, the older one in the jumpsuit. I think most guys do too. I have seen most women prefer the young sexy Elvis. So let's put this to a poll.....Do you like the younger Elvis, or the older classic Elvis, and the reason for it? This is a repost from a blog that I did last year. 	It is gorgeous out. I was gone for about 5 hours myself :) Gotta soak up the warmth and breeze! (Ok... I went and got soaked, but not saying more, lol) Young Elvis of course, but then... I liked young Priscilla better too. I wish she'd let herself age gracefully. They were a beautiful couple. He is and always will remain an American icon.

	I never really cared for Elvis. I haven't been on much today because of a track meet (my 16 year old is moving on to districts) and two soccer games (my 13 year played goalie in both games 4 -1, and 3 - 2, both wins). Tomorrow is the championship game. So tomorrow both boys have soccer games 40 miles apart at the same time. And once again the spouse will be of little help.

	She can't even move her face...it is sad. I saw her on Dancing with The Stars...she is still in shape, but I have a feeling it still hurts. Elvis...young! I do appreciate him as an older guy as well, but you have to remeber...that wasn't him in the end. He was on so many prescription drugs he could barely function. Memphis wouldn't be on the map if it weren't for Elvis, Stacks, Blues, BB King, and Cotton comin up the river...and The Delta Queen.

	funny I was never into Elvis either always though he was old love his movies though because they were so campy.. I did see his last show on TV I was just a kid back then... I knew it was his last show, perhaps the true beginning of for-telling for me even though no one believed me at the time... Smile

	There is only one real Elvis - the one that is dead - the rest are simply imposter that couldn't ever be Elvis... Some of them are pretty damn close, but almost doesn't count!

	I prefer original Elvis music- i.e. all the people he ripped off of- Robert Johnson, Big Mama Thornton, Chuck Berry, etc.

	I prefer dead Elvis Ditto. Sick of hearing about him, beyond the contributions to fifties rock, he is invalid.
