Yesterday I wrote a blog about The Ynots..........and said that It could have been me.........and today after spending the evening with Ynot...........all I can say is I am glad it isn't me............... 
Anyone that knows me, knows that I never discuss politics........oh I may occasionally make a joke about it but I just don't get into debates over it........simply because its an easy way to start a fight...........and yet last night..........well let me tell you what happened..........
Ynot came home from a hard day at work.......... (we actually stopped at his work place and although there was some discussion about cleaning toilets I didn't really witness any work going on....... ) so anyway he comes thru the door kisses MrsY and says in that manly tone of his...........What's for dinner? So as democracies go.............we voted on it........it was decided on that Ynot would cook dinner...........so on the drive to the Chinese restaurant.............(don't ya just love how some men take cooking so seriously  ) we did the normal chit chat that friends do............i.e. Jesus Ynot slow the fuck down...........holy shit Ynot you just about ran over that little old lady.......My god Ynot........blinkers are not optional equipment........you know chit chat.
So after we ate we sat and somehow the discussion turned to Health care and than rapidly went into politics.........Now granted Ynot only knows one thing that is even remotely politically related............he pays taxes, someone else benefits from them.......he wants them to die........and he wants his money back........period!!!
Before it was done with MrsY and I decided Ynot was a closet Republican.......you know screw everyone else I want to be rich...........so we just spent the rest of the evening debating (ok MrsY and I talked and when Ynot tried to get a word in we just talked over him.......definite democrat material......aren't we? ) So now we just call Ynot GW..........and we are all happy...........well not Ynot as he still really hasn't said much about politics but as good women that we are, MrsY and I will sway......oops......manipulate.......oops......blackmail............oops.......convince him our way is right and he has no say...........
Ynot at the beginning was actually feeling pretty good about being called GW after all who wouldn't want to be recognized as being as great as the leader of the free world............until we started talking about dumb things that bush has said..........although Hey Pope......Awesome speech is really close to my top of the list of dumb things his latest comment about giving up golf to pay attention to the war probably heads the list as number one........I mean really.........how many people really give a rats ass that he hasn't played Cow Pasture Pool since the war started..........I will bet not a damn person who has had to bury a soldier from the war.........
Another one of his famous...........oops "I am an idiot" blunders was

I guess he would rather have the odds changed to 3 fatal shootings to 1 non fatal........

Although I know I am probably going to get a thumbs down sign from Straddle for this blog........it is almost important to note........that I am neither democrat or republican.........I would rather vote for the best man (or woman) for the job than decide on it due to their political affiliation.........unfortunately we are mostly just left to the one who will do the less harm to us........how sad.................but getting back to Ynot.........and his political views.........I have hopes of seeing them again before the next election so I can carry out my new found tradition of calling him GW after all I doubt very much he would like to be called.............Mr.Hillary..........tho now with this man purse issue of his. (see yesterdays blog for understanding of man purse.. ).......that might be more appropriate..........

Hey, people who work hard deserve to be rich. It's not that we don't care about poor people, it's that a lot of social programs and lack of education, along with a strong desire to be lazy hold most of the poor back.

To me it just shows Bush being a down to earth kind of guy, and real at that.

lol...glad you guys had a great time eating out. Although, I would have prefered something Mexican, something like Taco Bell. 
I know I know, Kim has fun with me about that one about calling Taco Bell mexican food.

Well......first of all good blog and there goes one of my two kudos...that is half. I havent even been to Straddles West Virginia blog yet... second...what is a man purse??? I am sorry to be the way I am but I really am this way......if that makes sense.
Last, I agree with you except I agree with Straddle about the social programs....however there should be a way to make sure those who need it get it...it is deciding whop needs it!!! But nothing wrong with making money for your hard work....when does that start in life!!!

Sounds like dinner at my parents house. Don't get my Dad on the subject of politics.
I normally vote for who I feel will do best for the people of this country...I'm not into the whole "party" thing.  I go with who I like...regardless of which "party" they're in.

Sounds like one of those days where it would be quicker & less painfull to shoot your self in the foot....OOPS! that would make you a statistic, Put the gun back in the drawer.
Politics...The every 4 year media blitz to prove who are the biggest liers on the planet. I say we dump the job on some poor unsuspecting soul every 4 years & hold the election to see if they did a good enough job to Not Be hung at the end of the term. They might still do a lousy job but I bet they would try harder to do a god one.
