I just got off the phone with my daughter after calling up there. I first talked with a nurse up there and she told me that Alex is still in critical condition. She went to get his nurse for me and Tash came to the phone at the nurses station and we talked a little more about how Alex is doing. Tash told me that he moved his shoulders and arms today and his number is down to 14 nowon the breathing machine which is better than yesterday at 18. It was 20 Saturday, and 24 Friday. They are getting him winged off the breathing machine slowly. Alex does have some brain damage is what Tash told me, but they're still not sure on the severity of it. This is all the information I have at this time. Like I stated, it's a wait and see situation, and it's going to take some time.

Thanks for the update Shawn. You're right. There's not much that can be done right now except to first get him physically healthy and breathing on his own, then later, the doctors will monitor him as they do all infants during their developmental stages. I'm praying for miracles for Alex. I'm even loaning him my own Guardian Angel!

That is great news Shawn. I am really encouraged because things looked very bleak last week. Maybe what looks bad now will be better next week. I am still praying and still hoping for the best. I want to meet Alex someday and watch him run around the yard and play, yelling at the top of his lungs like a normal kid...... because he is a normal kid....it can happen...I know it can... That is my prayer....
