That's a verse from one of my favorite songs.

AMD is indeed a community of sorts. There is something here for almost everyone with a potential for pervdom. We have folks who are looking for love and "security", folks looking for a quick something, folks who are looking for friends, folks looking for simple entertainment ( if there is such a thing ), and folks that have no idea what they're looking for.

We have lovers, fighters, and doormats. Funny folks and folks with sticks in their hind ends. Handsome folks and ugly ass folks. Intelligent folks and folks that are severely challenged, by themselves mostly, but challenged none the less.

But above all, we are just folks. Here on AMD together, like it or not. We're gonna have all kinds of behavior because this is like nap time in kindergarten. Once the teacher leaves, some of us are going to nap, as we are supposed to do, some of us are going to get up and run around, and some are going to watch them.

There are three types of people in the world.

1.) People who make things happen.
2.) People who watch things happen.
3.) People who say," How the hell did that happen?"

Which type are you?

I'm a rule-follower for the most part - don't like getting in trouble (submissive by nature) so when the teacher leaves the room I tend to sit back and watch...oh, and I'd be taking down names so Ms Larson knows not just that I didn't do it - but who did. Yeah. I'm STILL that way. For the most part, anyway...I have been known to "set it off" on occasion.

Yeah, well being the youngest of 4 and always taking the blame (and not being believed) taught me some valuable lessons when I was quite young. I'm not getting my ass beat for what someone else did...

And besides, what's the point of having laws if no one keeps order?

When I was in high school, I was in the college credit courses with all the book smart kids. My grades put me in there but I certainly did not belong with the bunch. They were kids who were close to genius but absolutely no common sense and I was the kid who had "street smarts" due to being a ghetto baby who just happened to have a little intelligence.
It was amazing to watch these kids. We would have a substitute and they would act like little children on a play ground. All their pent up need to be a child was released when no true authority figure was present. It was frustrating to see individuals who were going to make it so far in life, with NO COMMON sense. Much like this place, when you think about it.

So, to answer your blog, I watch things happen because often times I do not want to be associated with what is happening. However, it is great to point and laugh and occasionally shake my head in disgust.

That's me - especially when I saw what was being done was really naughty! Like - locking the teacher out of the room....tsk, tsk...I didn't do it, but I know who did...

I know the feeling, Roxanna. Sometimes it doesn't matter what you say, people will read into it what they will, and associate you with something because of an inability to see things for what they are.

I was the kid running around. I hardly slept at home, I sure wasn't gonna sleep in school.

I am a watcher..

When things get heated on AMD I leave for a while..And come back...I try to stay out of the drama..Not my style, never has been...

I am one of those people who wants everyone to get along..I know not everyone will..

If I wanted to have fighting and arguing in my life I would of stayed married..

I wake up, I make things happen, I watch to make sure I don;t get invovled in the wrong way for me, and then sometimes when I see wrong I nudge a lil bit to help it go in a direction that could be more positive...and then every now and then when I think I am happy go lucky...I trip...Murphy's Law...I live it!

I will lead or follow, usually doing the one that will cause me the most heartache...but I love our little Perville,

I tend to start out watching, but then end up making things happen, at least in the real world.
Here? Tend to watch, sometimes play, but unless something really strikes home, I'll keep my opinions to myself.

3.) People who say," How the hell did that happen?" Unless something is unexplainable, an act of God, I never say that.

I can be either of these two, in this order.

2.) People who watch things happen. Sometimes, it's best to let it alone if it will resolve itself.

1.) People who make things happen. I will always take action at my own risk where warranted, and control of my own life where I can.

For the most part I'm an observer. Once in a while I get a wild hair and do something off the wall. I'm a people watcher. I like to watch people.

I don't do drama so I stay out of the crap unless I have no choice, which means it effects my children or myself. Then I'll take a stand. Everytime.

I was really really shy in school. To the point that I barely passed speech class because of it. Being a trainer took away the last of my shyness...knocked it right out of me.

Great Blog!!

Growing up I was one that made things happen..(yep a trouble maker)LOL
But as I got older and had my own children I have learned to be a watcher until someone steps on my toes.. Than watch out...
