I just got an email saying that it had found new matches for me. One of them I've actually tried to contact, A couple of them are seeking men outside my age range, still more of them aren't looking to meet up in real life, and a couple of them are fake/spam profiles (one of whom I already got spammed by). 	I don't take them seriously, there are fake profiles and simply people who lie on theirs. The parameters are much too narrow for serious consideration. I say just do your own research, the only way to know if you're compatible with someone is to talk to them. I've recently been chatting with someone who is eerily closer to what I'm looking for than anyone I've chatted with. I say eerily, because I just noticed something about her one day and decided to say hi. I wasn't even looking at profiles, or searching for anything, and so far, she's wonderful. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't turn up on a search or on my matches. So just check things out. *side note* I'll never, ever tell anyone who I'm referring to. Not even my mother. My real friends here at AMD understand. Sorry dude, but there are those that hate, and hey, your blog gave me a chance to give a shout-out, incognito. She knows who she is, and that's all that matters. Oh, and I might mention it to Moms, but she ain't telling!

	I think (I don't know, I've never read those), they probably just match by two criteria.... location and gender. Must be their way of just saying, we have new members! Contact them, so they'll stay.

	I agree with Gina. The matches don't seem to mean anything other then the site announcing new people that are nieve and make them think there are many out there they might have a chance with. I don't take them seriously or even bother to check them out.

	Must be their way of just saying, we have new members! Contact them, so they'll stay. Mine always seem to be ones that haven't been on for over 3 months...and definitely not ones I would select for myself...

	A good match algorithm is hard to come by. I program, and I administer computers so I can say something like this, "And you trust a nerdy programmer sitting in the back of a server room who things that adult results from a google search constitutes a date to be able to accurately match relationships? HA!" I know my own personal algorithm needs a little work. Hehe, reminds me of blind dating (which I like). People have matches for you, bless their hearts, and sometimes the matches aren't quite what you had in mind. Fake personalities, fake interest. All par for the course I suppose.
