It was a difficult decision which weighed greatly upon me at the store. Before me were two luxurious options which beckoned to me, promising me an experience to remember. I would think it hard to go wrong with either choice but which would be the best for now? Would it also be the best for later?
I weighed the known pros and cons of each and after another moment of thought I reached out and touched the one I chose. This was it. Lightly feeling the cloth which surrounded it, I squeezed it gently. I closed my eyes and focused intently upon my lucky fingers. My mind raced with the possibilities. I had never had this before nor had I gone this far. Gaining confidence in my choice I pulled it to me and embraced it fully. A smile slowly crept upon my lips. I knew that tonight would be a night to remember, unlike any before and like so many since.
I would be the first of any of my friends to have this pleasure however it wouldn't be something I would just talk about in any conversation. I opened my eyes and hesitantly stepped closer. Would I be happy with this? Do I deserve this? What would I feel like in the morning? Something is better than nothing and tonight, I would be happy.
This was the situation when I was choosing bed sheets and was contemplating high thread count cotton sheets or satin. In the end I chose the high thread count and haven't been sorry but perhaps some day I'll go get a set of satin sheets for those special nights. Hehe, maybe plastic sheets for those extra special nights, but that fun will be reserved for another blog ;-) What kind of sheets tickle your fanny? What are your thoughts upon the merits of each?

You had me going with this blog...I wasn't sure what you were touching or embracing....LMAO I didn't expect it to be sheets!!!
I don't sleep on sheets. I sleep on top of my comfortor with a comfortor....
If I do sleep on sheets, I enjoy the jersey knit (like a t-shirt) or flannel. I sleep with a flannel pillowcase, I love that feeling on my face.
