Once again, someone is using MD to promote their business.

If you look at the profile for one hot2000, you'll see a picture of a sweet very innocent looking girl talking about being lonely.

But, send a note & you'll get an offer to chat on yahoo & a yahoo profile that offer web cam "meetings" for various prices.

As the person mentions, she/he is not here to chat.........of course.........there's no money in that.

I guess as long as there's money to made, this type of thing will never end.

Just other obstacle in meeting real people.

Do woman ever get emailed these type of offers?.......from supposed "guys" or "gals" ?

I never have had offers like that sent to me. I guess they are on sites because they can't afford to advertise elsewhere? I just don't have a clue, but it sure does waste your time doesn't it?!

Yes it sure does...........because if any of us really wanted to, we could easily go out & find those sites on the inet. Apparently these people think that they can trick others into into participating & of course paying.......who knows for sure if it actually works.

It must work to some degree otherwise they wouldn't be doing it. Bad karma, me thinks.

In the back of UFO Monthly magazine (I've never bought it, but I've witnessed its disgusting magnificence) there are ads for love potions, perpetual-motion machines, male enhancement pills, mail-order brides, talismans, water purification rituals, magnetic bracelets to help ward off evil spirits...

The reason these ads appear in UFO Monthly is because that publication's editors and advertisement-sales departments are well aware that if you wish to advertise to its readers, your target demographic is very gullible, credulous and desperate.

Why do I bring this up?

Well...

Does anybody find it strange that every time a man logs into anything (AMD, Yahoo, MSN) he will find messages from incredibly beautiful (or so it would seem) women begging for cures to their loneliness, whereas women log in and have never been offered to "Cam with sexy Calvin Klein models"?

Women can just wear a low-cut shirt to the bar if they want to get laid.

Meanwhile, men will answer any old stupid message, if they think they might get laid out of it...

The answer here is the same as it is in UFO Monthly: don't be so gullible, credulous and desperate. They damn well know their target demographic.
