I have several friends, mostly female, as well as people I do not keep in touch with via email, that send everybody in their address book jokes, what I call friendship cuties, prayer wheels, and right wing religious/political messages. Many never write or send an email, they just continuously forward whatever they got forwarded to them. I usually ignore these things as I have seen them before. But sometimes I will post one. Today's chicken thing for example. Anyway, what I have noticed is that I will get a joke in an email that will have been posted on here a few days before or is posted on here a few days or weeks later. That same cycle will also apply to the emails that I get from people. Some of these things make the rounds so often that they show up in my inbox every few years. 	Damn you mean I shouldn't have sent you that forward this morning? and just so you know..........I very rarely forward anything........actually I am getting pretty lax about reading 99% of my emails......but I thorry..........

	reruns...definitely a phenomenon of the net.. An "Aggie" virus of sorts. It doesn't take on a life of its own without the willing "Aggies" (or substitute your favorite ethnic group) who cut & paste or forward the joke or snope or what have you. I have wondered if I sent something original out to everyone I knew, how long would it take before it came back to me?. and would my email address still be attached 50 layers deep in the forwarded and re-forwarded email?
