was at the bank today and as soon as i walked through the front doors i saw it was jam packed...line going all the way to the door to walk in.....so, there i am standing there not really thinking....watching each customer go up to the counter and get there cash check cashed or deposited....bank teller starts asking for id and the gentleman which is prolly in his 70's or 80's starts saying id? i don't have an id...she restates herself and says i need your drivers license....oh, oh, i have that he says....so, there i am standing in line still.... got about 20 or 30 people in front of me...when i start to notice 99% of the line is people that are in between 65 and 85 yrs old at least.....i was like holy shit....what's going on here? took me about 5 minutes then i realized it was May 1st....getting that check at the first of the month....so, it went on like this with the bank teller having to talk loudly and repeat herself to almost everyone of them about something another....i stood there and thought to myself...hmm...this is what i get to look forward to when i get that age....then another thought came to me....well, knowing my family history i won't make it to retirement so i got nothing to worry about....also while i was in town i was looking at every gas station i drove by which is prolly about 30 gas stations at least....cheapest gas station is race trac...$3.56 a gallon....highest i saw was $3.69 a gallon at another gas station....oh and everyone of the retired people in the bank was wearing shorts and shirt all snappy lookin as if they just came off playin golf....and getting ready to head back out to play some more.....
