It didn't let me post a comment...
People who are 110% sure of their sexuality are vastly in the minority- and I'm not so sure that's a bad thing. I've always been a fan of the Kinsey scale- it leaves more room for play, if you will, but even that doesn't really leave room for all the sexual identities out there- so I'm for damn sure that the old Gay/Bi/Straight categorization ain't cutting it.
Reminds me of a Q&A session with filmmaker Kevin Smith. A girl who identified herself as a lesbian was giving him a hard time, and in his retort, he refered to her as a "bi-curious college girl" and she said, "So just because I'm young, I'm just bi-curious? Did you know you were straight when you were eighteen?" With perfect sincerety, Silent Bob replied, "M'am, I'm 31 years old, and I'm still not sure."
I'm just thinking... Is it really someone's goal to find themselves a neat little box and stuff themselves in it for the rest of their life? Is knowing which box is yours something to be proud of?
