Do women really like it when their husband/lover says "yes dear" to them after a stearn lecture? Seems like guys who do this usually are self defeated whipped husbands and lovers, or is it because they just don't want to argue with her and be nagged to death? Even avoiding conflicts in such a way could still mean a self defeated attitude or being whipped, right?

Man, I might get into some trouble with this blog...

The sarcastic, yes, dear, doesn't work with me.

He better say, I understand, and discuss the topic to show me it hasn't gone in one ear and out the other.

I've never gotten the Yes dear, I have gotten the boyfriend who leaves rather than discuss things, right up until they get called on it, some do listen and some run for the hills rather than deal with any problems there may be.

Zara... I call those types cavemen. They're ok, in that, they'll take the time out to think and they'll usually come back with their feelings on the table.

I just tell her to talk to the hand. That's the way all women should be treated.

Sure.

Why, one could resist such offers through a multiplicity of means including and not excluding such ideas and actions as the divulgence of subject matter and the topic at hand in which the idea and the matter in which the discussion is being centered around is hence forth redirected and incidentally terminated through such a means of passive resistence......(blahblahblah....so on and so forth....).....and that covers all of the means in which one such individual could resist an offer or an invitation from said other individual who from which the question was initially asked and originally put forth.

Can you run that by me again? "Passive resistance"? Would that be like putting handcuffs on myself and saying, no, no, no?

I hate it when hubby does that!!...it means he will not discuss it anymore he is done & nothing you can say will get him to discuss it after he says thos words...on another note he knows that pisses me off that's why he does it says he finds it hot when I get that mad...MEN!

Depends on the woman, if it's a stranger, or someone i don't know very well, it's yes ma'am, if it's someone I'm dating/engaged to, I just walk away...If I know I'm right, and they are just too stubborn to stop and think things through before they get all bossy or accusational. If I'm wrong, I'll say, I'm sorry, I was wrong, You're right. ....Thankfully, I don't have to tuck my tail between my legs too often, because I have a habit of thinking before I decide to argue. Ya gotta learn to pick the battles you can win, and just let the ones you can't die.
