To set the stage for this tale of terrible torture, I have to tell you a little about the weather in GA the past week. All week, it has been in the high 70s, low 80 during the day and in the 60s at night. Today, it dropped to the 60s in the day and the 40s at night. Now my timeline can begin.
2:30 - I get in bed to go to sleep.
2:50 - I start to drift off.
3:10 - The fire alarm goes off in my dorm.
3:15 - I make it outside, dressed in sandles, shorts and a t shirt.
3:25 - They tell us that smoke in one of the trash rooms set off the alarm.
3:30 - They tell us that there was a small fire and the sprinkler system and the firefighters have contained and put out the fire.
3:55 - They say the in 15-30 minutes we can go back into the building.
5:44 - They say we can go back into the building.
5:45 - They say we CAN'T go into the building.
5:55 - They finally let us back in.
6:00 - I make it back to my room, tired, cranky and pissed off that the birds are already singing.

Ahhh I remember dormitory fire alarms... we used to take advantage of those times when we were required to be up in the wee hours.. to do really interesting things like put someone's Volkswagen rabbit upside down on the flagpole podium..
course.. that was before the time when you got arrested for simple pranks.

Had something like that happen in my apartment complex,turns out they were pressure washing and the force of the water hit the fire alarm making it go off.Fuck,I was sleeping so good...
