I recently heard about a survey that was conducted among men and women who were in there 50's and 60's,They were each asked what brought them the most joy and pleasure during the course of their lives. The answer was taking risks and taking chances, trying and experincing new things they never had before even if they did not work out they still felt it was wort it, because they learned new things, expanded their horizions, enriched their lives. They were also asked what they regretted most. The answer not taking more risks, not trying more things, they wished they had done / tried more.Life is so much shorter than we realize, no one is guranteed a second, each second , minute , hour , week, year, decade we receive is a blessing we receive. How we spend . use it is up to us.Life can change or end suddenly, tragically, even violently, any second. We can never tell family, loved ones, friends who are near and dear to us how much they truly mean to us, how much we love them too often, because we never if or when we will ever see them, or they will see us.Many times in life we put of doing or saying things to others we love or care about, until it is too late ( thinking i'll do it later, tommorrow, next week, etc.) and we never get the chance.Like spending time with family, loved ones, friends ( like getting together with them, doing something together, calling or contacting them ).Unless we do we miss out on so much time and the years pas by far to quickly, it seems like in the blink of an eye, before we realize it. Time is very short and very precious, we each need to make the most of each and every second, while we have the time and opportunity. The best and most wonderful gifts are those that we give from the heart, from ourselves, they do not cost us anything, but time. The benefeit, and pleasure is immeasurable, and truly impacts not only our mod and life, but all those whom we share our time with, making warm positive memories, that last a lifetime.Good conversation, good food , healthy interaction together face to face, in the hustle and bustle hectic lives we lead in this day and time, sometimes we do not see family ,loved ones, and friends, ( because of time cionstraints, distance, etc.) for long periods, often times the only contact we have is if we email them, text them, talk via phone, or randomly meet them in a public plave ( bump into them, so to speak) all the modern tecnology we have does keep us in touch but it is no substitute for face to face physical encounters the interaction is not the same unless you are face to face in the same area.Because physical interactions are nothing like those done via phone, email, texting etc. They lack the warmth, and physical contact, like a hug, a kiss, a handshake all things that are not possible unless you have physical contact. Thanks for your time and thanks for reading this.Peace.We should each live each day as if it where our last, and do and say the things that we keep putting off, because it could be our lat day we never truly know there are no gurantees in this life."Carpe Diem" Translation ( Latin for Seize the day ).Have a wonderful , peaceful, relaxing, healthy day.Life is what we make of it, so make the most of every second. All the best and most wonderful blessings of life to all.
