It really sickens me, the disgusting people that walk among us.
I'm listening to the news this morning and there was a man on, he
was "admitting" he is wrong, fucked in the head and needs to see a
therapist because he enjoys fucking teenage girls. Sorry, but your admitting that, doesn't make it any better buddy!! He was busted by an officer on-line posing to be a teen.
The very next thing that came on, was an older man. The news anchor said he wasn't sure how the man could even hold his head up for the mugshot. He then went on to explain that this man was busted for planning a meeting to go fuck a woman and her 8 year old daughter. SICK!!! Which was also an undercover officer who "chatted" with this man for 2 weeks before busting him.
I wanted to cry. I had to change the channel right then and there.
What is wrong with people?? We can't even send our children to school
anymore and think they are safe. Our kids aren't safe anywhere anymore!!
I feel so sick to my stomach right now. There is a special place in hell
for these people to burn. Awful....just fuckin' awful.

Online, AMD, other personal sites, craigslist, etc.
It's sometimes hard to see the glass as half full when so many are hurting others in our world.

now that you do have me thinking I don't live to far from where Jeffery Dahmer lived.
He was a very sick child who tortured animals then other children and when he was just a plan true "sicko"as an adult...

I watch Dateline...To catch a predator....now there's a real eyeopener! Men will travel for hours to meet what they think is a young teen home alone then claim they "wasn't gonna do nothing"... One they arrested was due to go to court for sentencing the following week for doing the very same thing. One man brought his 5 year old son with him. There was a rabbi and a teacher and a police officer....who had a huge arsenal of LOADED guns in his vehicle.
It's alarming the numbers of these men..they come in droves! And these are just a drop in the bucket to how many actually are out there.
What makes me angry is the parents that just turn their teens loose on the computer like it's a babysitter and never monitor what they're doing.

I believe these are sick individuals. However, I do believe it is an illness. Does it condone the fact that many are hurt by their actions-NO!! I hope and pray that one day they come up with a medication to treat these people, and make them better. To me that is what is so sad, is that it is an illness yet so disgusting.

Avenger, I'm not certain. I think it was an undercover agent concocting the mother/child story from what the post says... but... you're right. There are some sick people out there that exploit their own children. If that was the case, both the parent and the predator should be arrested... the child definitely removed.
I keep a very close eye on my kids. I try to be the parent who always takes the kids places and picks them up. Gotta go to work but I'm coming back later in the day to tell a little story how my neighbor's daughter playing a "joke" could have had an innocent man arrested as a predator.

Justice has many forms - guess I have more compassion for the victims than the perpetrator...they deserve what they get & if Daddy gets a gun, I don't blame him.
Hope your tummy is better...as a mother & for all of you who are parents, these must be some of your worst fears...

i have to agree that there is some sick fucks out there, But after seeing the news last night, i find that some of our teenagers are just as sick as the they are in somewhat a different way. This story was about a bunch of teenage girls who invited another girl to there house. She thought these girls were her friends. They brought her into the house and had 3 guys outside as look outs and commenced to beat the shit out of her until she was out cold. She had some very bad damage done to her. All this was done for the sick excuse that they wanted to film it so they could put it on utube. so some of our kids are as sick as the sexual old fart assholes out there.

Recidivism rate is something like 98%?
They can't be cured or treated.
Releasing them after they have served their time is a ridiculous notion. They will reoffend....it's only a matter of time. 
The one really great thing you have in some states? is the Sex Offender Registry where you can look up the offenders name or something to that affect?
We don't have that here..Course I personally would be writing this from inside a jail cell if they did

I agree educating our children very early is a huge positive step but it's not enough. Society needs to recognize these people are "ill" in a way that can't be treated

I took my girls to dinner and we waited outside the restaurant for a friend of mine to show up. There was a young man outside waiting for someone too. My friend arrives, we go inside. One of my kids excuses herself to go to the ladies room and to call her friend M.
The other one says... Mom? I have to tell you something. Before we came to dinner, M (the neighbor's kid was over) and she and A (my other daughter) were on the internet and they signed up at a dating site and made believe they were 18.
Me: Yes? Go on...
My kid: You know that guy that was standing outside? He was waiting for the girl they made up on a dating site. M told A to call her if the guy showed up.
Me: WTF? OMG! Are you kids crazy??!?
After talking more and getting the story from them they thought it was funny. I asked them what dating site they went to. The other Matchdoctor. M found the link on a website. She even chatted with the young man in IM's and email. At the time these kids were 11, 12 and 13 (M was the 13 year old who easily passed as 15 without any makeup even).
I got together with M's mother, we lectured and grounded them. Warned them what could have happened to anyone of them if they'd stupidly made other arrangements. And even, that the "internet police" could have been monitoring and arrested the guy for no reason. (Internet police? Alright, I lied, but it shook them up).

What is worse is that this problem has always existed, even been glorified.....in the media........we as a society are twisted when you don't have to look past your own home to be victim...there was a story here where a man and woman were arrested because the woman allowed her boyfriend to sleep with her 14 year old daughter...(he got her pregnant)......think about it........NOT ALL MONSTERS LURK IN THE OUTSIDE WORLD..........MOST ARE PART OF OUR FAMILY.....  ........sad but true..........good blog.................kudos......!!

Gina- You just sent shivers up and down my spine.. I know about the stupid stuff young kids do. I have one. Lecturing & monitoring helps...but the thrill of playing in the adult world is soo intoxicating.
I sometimes say I play online so I can stay one step ahead of my kid. That is my rationalization and I am sticking to it.
