Not the first, won't be the last. Only comment on the whole thing I have is the same one I usually have in these situations... If you can't open your comments to all you should just quit and kill yourself. But I digress... This Blog is not about blogs or wars at all, it's about water. It's been dry for a day now, but previosly it rained for "like 40 days" in a row. Two days ago my sump pump quit and water damaged an otherwise beautifully finished basement in my house. You might be thinking poor Pudge... don't do that. I saw on the news there's folks with 4 feet of water in their houses... I got an inch or so in the basement. Sucks but we gotta keep perspective. That is what this blog is about, keeping perspective. I was in my local Lowe's buying a new pump to get the water out of my basement. I was in a bit of a hurry as the pump was doing my basement no good sitting in it's box in the store there. The woman ahead of me in line was raising Holy Hell with the clerk over the price of replacement air filters for her A/C unit. Seems she was overcharged 15 cents for the four pack. She sent him away from the register to price check the filters. I'm standing there with my sump pump. It's raining outside. She's shaking her head at me angrily. It's raining outside and my pump is still in the box.... Air filters at Lowes are overpriced by 15 cents on the four pack. My pump is still in the box. It's raining outside. Some people in this world lack perspective. I'm happy I'm not one of them. Happy Easter, or whatever religious celebration is closest on Your calendar. 	Oh Pudgie Wudgie! I feel your pain baby! My world is mostly underwater right now too! They've been evacuating by one of our dams as it is now "soft" and could go at any minute! Rivers all over the state should reach peak flood stage tonight sometime! And that's AFTER we've had sun for the last two days! Best of luck to ya!!!

Isn't it amazing that some people just can't seem to find anything good in life? If they aren't bitching, moaning and complaining about something not makng them happy, then they just aren't happy..... I'm thinking if that is the worst thing to happen in her day..her life must be perfect. Good to see you back, Sweetie!! Hope your basement gets all dried out and damage, if any, is held to a minimum.

	I know what you mean. Some lady with an $800 watch and a couple thousand on her hands holding the line up because her coupons are expired. I've actually tried giving money to people like that, but they seldom accept it. The shame factor works the same on 'em though. Sad to say, seems like most people's perspective encompasses only what's in reach.

	We have flood warnings out AGAIN for my area. It has been the wettest winter season this year and many people have literally had their homes destroyed. You're right....people need to get a perspective on things. Like those people in my area that bellyache because their road is flooded and they have to drive around the water...at least they have a home to go back to...geez!
