If I smell a perfume that I really like it greatly inhances the attractivness of a woman. Conversely, if the perfume is not to my liking or if it smells like they have taken a bath in it then it can be a major turn off. So, I have this friend with benifits and one night she comes over and has on this perfume that I dont like. So I tell her that I dont like it and she gets upset. I tell her that one of our mutual friends always smells great and that she should consult her to find a great perfume. She gets even more upset saying that she doesnt want to smell like our friend and that I must have some desire to sleep with this friend if I want them to smell alike. Thats wasnt my intentions at all. I explain to her that perfume goes a long way with me and that it would I would definately make it worth her while if she found something that I like. So what do you all think? Am I out of line here? am I asking too much? Just as a side note the perfumes that I cant stand are the floral scents. It smells like an old woman. 	Well, I personally would be slightly offended although I would not show it. Obviously she is eager to please, I would say you stuffed up a little bit you could have tried presenting her with a little gift of your preferred scent to give a subtle hint............. But then if she is just a friend with benefits it might send out the wrong vibe. I dunno buddy, that's a tough one. I love to smell citrusy and fresh.........until my best friend told me I smelled like kitchen cleaner! lol

	No, you're not asking too much at all! There are some colognes/perfumes that make me nauseous almost...and I'd tell someone, either quit wearing it, or I can't be around you. Anyone unwilling to understand that is not worth bothering with, IMO.

	Perfume on a woman is like cologne on a man it can be overdone. It's not meant to be put on so it smells like you took a bath in it. Just a little in the right places is enough. I've never had a man tell me I over did it but if it happened I wouldn't be offended. I'd take it as a learning experience

	We have memories that are connected to different smells and it can affect us. I don't allow slightly unpleasant odors to bother me. I would rather get laid than not because of something like that. Maybe you could get her some perfume that turns you on as a gift.

Sometimes tact requires a gentle nudge, or a little fib, and not the honest truth! ( I can certainly identify with your predicament, though...)

	A friend of mine once gave me a great piece of advice.....she said, "Be careful about perfume. Some you put on and they smell like pee!"

	wait til your 26 yr old daughter keeps pinching your brutt deoderant cos she reckons it smells better than that sissy stuff.
