That's the sad thing. We're Americans and we're greedy. No one can stop us from doing what we want, so we're gonna do it anyway. 
Gas prices didn't stop anyone from Bike Week....won't stop the Spring Breakers either....
I got a gas guzzling V6 Explorer....with a broken gas gage.....Sucks that I gotta figure out the milage myself...Feels like I put more gas in it now than ever before.
And to look back and think, when I was in high school I was made when gas went up to $1.50.....

My son was in Michigan yesterday on Army business and said that he (well ok the government, it was a government vehicle after all) paid 3.59 for regular gas........as mine takes high test which is usually 20cents more a gallon, I am thinking I wont be driving a lot for a while................but i truly expect gas to be $4.00 a gallon for regular by memorial day................

It was $3.19 the other day when I put $40 in my gas-guzzling SUV (Dodge Durango V-8) ...and that was only roughly half a tank! GRRR...damn good thing I work from home else I'd be spending all my paycheck in gas!
I noticed it's down to $3.12 today. I wish there could be a cap on gas ..a gas cap..ha ha...like keep it at 2 freaking dollars a gallon. Or why can't we find some kind of viable alternative fuel source? Oh yeah...then the MFWICs couldn't get filthy rich that way!

Unfortunately it's not just the gas prices.........oil prices....go up.....EVERYTHING goes up. I'm a plumber and in the last 1 1/2 or so....copper has gone up x3.............that blows! If you voted for that moron we've had in office for two years, you have not one reason to complain. He's fucked up our country in every which way...and just one more thing off topic here....why do I always see commercials on tv about feeding the Africans.....which is all nice and good and all, but what about the starving people in our country?? Let bring the boys home from the war, make the middle east into a f---ing crater then put up a gigantic electric fence that will fry those mf--ers who get in ilegally.

I am getting old. I can remember when a dollar was worth 36 cents. I got a breakfast burrito at McDonalds this morning. I wasn't hungry, but I felt better knowing that I could get gas for less than three bucks. BTW, it $3.12 here in Texas for regular.
