for those that know me... this is what I do for a living... this is part of the reason we aint on as much as we were... these are windmill blades, they are 124ft long... there are two of them on the trailer... the trailer is streched to about 128ft... from the front bumper to the rear bumper I am 150ft long... the trailer wheels also steer and you will be able to see why they need to do this in the posted video... enjoy...

Small town suburbia must be fun. Dont you just love when soccer mom, an grandma is in a hurry, and they slam the brakes on in front of you? I drove a triaxle dump for a short time . everyone seems to think with all them wheels, you must have the brakes that make you stop on a dime ............

My brother drives part-time, mainly to keep his med card and CDL. Many of us here in Chaska watched a couple rigs bring in the new power generator. It came by ship to Duluth and was unloaded onto 2 trucks that were somehow connected - thats how wide the load was. They could only drive 35 mph from Duluth to Minneapolis, then out here. Was interesting watching them manuver two rigs simutaneously to get to the new power plant.
I do not envt your job, but thank you for all the truckers out there that keep America moving. And a greenie for y'all

You have a buttload more patience than I have that's for sure.
Some of those roads off the interstate out there on the gorge are a bit tight..

a company called Vesta's wind technology build those humungous wind farm towers and have been erecting them at a place just out of town called the Woolnorth windfarm.they have a couple hundred of them set up out there now. they are impressive watching them manouvre down the road ..
