i just found out from my friends on saturday morning
twin sister that he passed away
he had aids
i feel so stupid that i didnt relize how sick he was when he told me the day before that he couldnt eat or get out of bed

You shouldn't feel stupid..
if he didn't tell you directly,
how were you to know..
you just assumed he had
the flu or some food poisoning
at least you did see him
recently and made his day
better...
Just know that you made your friend's world better by being his friend.

 I lost a friend to AIDS and have one now who,in theory, has 2 yrs. to live. They can take a critical turn quickly, so don't beat yourself up. We always feel we haven't done enough when we lose a loved one, when in reality, we did what we could.
Condolences for your loss, and know he's not sick any longer.

Last Aug, I lost my College Room mate. She just up and had a Heart Attack at age 49. We never know when the last time we'll get to say Good bye. I was In Colorado in June when her mother died and I couldn't get home for the funeral.
Thankfully the Family let me give the Eulogy which I cried through even has I read it word of word from my notes.
You loved each other, that's all that matters. Do something so you'll never forget like plant a tree in his name or name a star after him. Or plant a rose bush in your yard.
Anything will help. and I truly an sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry to hear you lost your friend. Its never easy. I lost my father in Feb.1996
and even though I'm sad he is gone, and I miss him, I celebrate his life, and am glad that I even had the chance to know himThink how bothyour lives would have been had you never met. and be happy for him now.

Bodies and bones wear down and eventually stop working for whatever the reason.
What you have in your heart you will have with you for the rest of your life.
Try to rember the good times and the good things.

19 yrs old his whole life is gone. Yet you can remember his youth. I know this isn't the time but please buy condoms IF is only a two letter word that has more meaning than anything in the dictionary. IF people have safe sex then maybe just maybe his death won't be for nothing. One person saved is one more. I am soo sorry for your loss honey

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend sweetie. Don't feel stupid that you didn't really know how sick he was. You were there for him and that's the most important thing. Just cherish the memories you have and celebrate his life not his death.
