Since it seems to be Poetry and Story day here I guess I'll jump right in 
So, I should start by explaining that I have never really thought of myself as the type to write poetry.
I like all kinds of poetry but never thought I was capable of writing any.
That is till I stumbled onto Xanga. You know, its like Myspace but not.
Anyway here is a sample then I will explain:
Sun bursts out from behind snow covered branches.
Blinding in it's beauty.
Momentarily warming the skin despite the temps.
Well, I never said it was brilliant 
See, this all started when a gf of mine said I had to go on Xanga cause she was there, blah, blah, blah. So I did.
Needless to say she never posts anything on there  but I thought it was kinda fun, so I put up a few things.
Anyhoo, they have this thing called pulse and you only get something like 125 spaces to leave a quick message to friends.
I have no idea why I did it but I started using it to describe things.
I found it a challenge to say what I wanted with the limited space.
And now I think of it as my Pulse Poetry.
Simple isn't it 
So, here are a few more cause I knoooooow y'all really want to read it 
Morning rituals_coffee_take a seat_a sip_look out the windows_towards the mountains_sun sneaks out between the peaks_beauty
Snowed yesterday, today there is a icy misty fog.
You look out the window and want to wipe away the frost.
There is none :)
Peace..the sound of it is gentle, soothing...the feel of it, like being wrapped in loving arms..the cost of it? Your heart.

Wow. I really enjoyed that, Its a shame you dont think of yourself as a poet. I believe you have a talent, that you have not learned yet to embrace. A picture tells a thousand stories, but to paint a picture with such few words, is a work of art.
