I was wondering about a few things. For all of you here on AMD - How many hours a week do you spend here on this site?
Do you visit any other dating websites? If so huw much time do you spend there?
How many other dating sites do visit daily? weekly?
Do you pay for any of the sites?
I myself spend about 8 hours a week here and maybe 1/2 hour on regular MD.
I have one other site that I spend about 5 hours a week at.
I visit 4 other sites on a regular basis but no more than 3 - 5 minutes to check email and such.
And all the sited I visit on a regular basis are free.
I don't want the names of any sites and I'm not soliciting, I am just curious

I spend an hour to hour and a half here on AMD....and there is one other site I visit regularly...but I don't pay for it
And uh oh for me....my damn eHarmony subscription runs out in a week! I better hurry up and find those 29 dimensions of compatibility............

I have been on most of the popular free sites at one time or another. I do have to disagree, being here just in general does not make one "desperate." I spend a little time before and after work here, but usually just to relax, read and cut up a little, when im not exterminating trolls. I wouldn't say I was "actively" seeking someone, I feel that will come in its own time. And my profile is blunt enough and clear enough that anyone that is truly interested in me will contact me first. Not to infer arrogance, rather that I am an unusual person. And many do the same I think, just come here for fun and online friends mostly. And the best relationships I have seen come out of here were based on that. 
As for pay sites...I was a member on one. For about 6 months. And out of the four relationships I have tried from meeting online, that was the worst. I got a psycho from hell.

I used to spend a lot of spare time on here,but since we had some membership issues where we sent the money from Australia (and have the reciepts and proof it was recieved) and still haven't been given an up-grade three months later,we migrated to another site that has everything free,and lots more on offer,and will soon be introducing live chat as well.
and since I'm not solicitating either I won't tell you its a place called;

I also know of probably a dozen regulars from here that have also enjoyed the fun on offer there,I guess I'd spend an average of an hour or so a day checking out differant stuff,but I wouldn't describe myself as desperate just cos I enjoy adult chatsites in general

I have a membership at another site, but I don't go there.
I play on here when I feel like it...especially late at night, since I am a major insomniac..
As far as desperate...I'm not at all..I have friends here and we chat. If anything becomes of that...well then.....we'll see.

I am on three sights.  This is the only site I pay for.  I have one site I was one of the first people on it and they gave me a 3 year gold membership. I am on a fun site called BikerOrNon.  I can keep up with the rides and meet and greets in the area on this site.

For me I can't stand to sit in front of the comp. for anymore than maybe 25 minutes. I come and go. I used to stay on more often at one time till I met Kim last year. She laready thinks I'm addictive to blogging, so I scaled back a lot beginning last summer.
