Frankly, I have found the people on the site to be of a better quality (generally speaking, of course). Unfortunately, too many think of this site as an Internet whorehouse. This site is more of a community. I also, despite my rants to the contrary, find a greater degree of thought and intelligence here. Still I won't retract my complaints about lame blog posts and comments. But this is a good one and the quality has been improving the past couple of weeks.
To me the regular site is overpopulated by people that don't have a clue about successfully leading a single life or leading a life at all. Too many casualties in the battle of the sexes over there. Most people here have been single for a quite a while and are much more adjusted to it as a result.

I have close to 4000 posts at regular MD and under 300 posts here. I do however enjoy both sites. I joined grown up MD to enjoy shooting the breeze with friends who migrated over here from another site that closed down. Because while I'm here, I feel like I can be open about the true nature of love and sex, especially as they pertain to me. If I were to outright tell someone out in the world or on a site like matchdoctor about my sexual habits, they would probably not want to associate with me, as people don't like to confront all the lies they have constructed to cope with the truth. Telling a date, over the dinner table or matchdoctor, that you need to bash the bishop about once a week in order to maintain a certain level of composure in your public life would cause them to figuratively cover their ears and close their eyes; i.e. end the date. They would refuse to recognize that as a shitty reality of being single, and they would they would refuse to acknowledge their own probable masturbatory habits.
My best friend told me about this girl he knew in high school, and about the perfect no strings relationship they shared. There were just two brilliant people being part-time friends and part-time fuckers for as long as it would last. On the night before they were going to both move away to college, they stayed in her family's cabin in some forest in Washington state and had an endurance fuckaton and talked about all kinds of deep shit. The following morning, my friend woke up early, but waited till he was packed and ready before he said good bye. He mentioned that he woke up with a huge erection.
