I found out last nite that a very special friend of mine for many years passed away.
He was a good kind, loving man, that loved life and all it had to give. For all of you that knew Lakota from AMD, or even MD, passed away Nov. 6th of 2007.
He was buried at the reservation he was born in, next to his beloved grandparents that raised him.
I still haven't come to terms with his death. But knowing he really isn't gone, hes just not of this world anymore, makes me feel like hes still here in many ways. May the Spirits keep him happy, healthy for the next life!!!!

I didn't know him "well" but the few interactions we had were very pleasant. May Wakan Tanka watch over him and guide his spirit from this world to the next.

I didn't really know him much.....but I hope he went peacefully. And the spirits will guide him.....

He must have been special, to have someone remember him, and write good things about him as you have. By your words my guess is that he's probably effected other people the same way.
I hate losing the good ones in this life, we need all we can get. My condolences...

Im gonna miss him sis only one man like him can give ya a good cyber spanking and make you laugh ......... he was a gentle nice carring man chated with him a few times didnt know him all that well but he always made me laugh and smile when he did  MAY HE R.I.P WE WILL MISS YOU LAK (Lakota)

Last time i spoke to Lak was the end of October. Last pics i had off him were of his new grandchild.

Oh, NOOOOOOOOO!! Lak is gone?? ...I havent been around, and didnt know. He was always so sweet to me and made me soooo laugh. We talked about his health a few times last year..knew there were issues. I will miss his wit and sweetness and the off the wall funny remarks he would make trying to shock me.
Rest in peace, dear Lak...you will be remembered with fondness and smiles.
